This hotel was our best experience in a 2 weeks long roadtrip. We booked two rooms for our family of 5 and price was totally fair. Rooms were perfect: clean and crispy. We appreciated small terrace in the evening when kids went to bed. We loved that hotel has restaurant on premises with early breakfast (from 6:30am) and dinner availability. Nice gardens, pool and river views. Service was fantastic - front desk people were very nice and helpful. We also really appreciated that hotel refunded us our last night when we decided to finish our roadtrip earlier. We hope to return! We drove to Lassen NP from the hotel and the distance was manageable.

Everything was great.

The breakfast was good. The breakfast room could have used more tables and chairs. Limited options but the food was good. The hotel is located close to the River with lovely pathways and fountains. Parking was easy. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very good coffee in the lobby.

The tv was difficult, no clear guide, limited reception and channels. The hotel is slightly isolated so you must drive to get supplies.

We have been before on a company paid overnight. The experience was not the same as we remember, though much has changed everywhere. All of the staff and patrons are accomodating and lovely! Honestly, the rooms are very insulated, comfortable and enjoyable. Unbeatable for the price! The size is enormous, even with a king bed!

There are a few issues with maintenance (not cleanliness) that could be addressed. The outer doors are a bear to open with key cards, they just didn't seem to want to work (security feature or frustration?). There were provided ammenities such as a blow drier (wonderful, we didn't pack one!), which hadn't seen a cleaning or replacement (who checks that, anyway?) The pool and hot tub are quite nice, especially in the summer, but the gate key reader doesn't function.

We call it the Hippie Hotel in a good way. Enjoy the layout of the rooms so you have areas that are private. Nice to take a stroll to river. Located perfectly for fast food or nice dinner at hotel. Right off of I 5. We will continue to stay there during our trips up to visit family nearby.

We missed breakfast but Pete's coffee was great!

I felt bad for the dinner staff because they got slammed with 40+ firefighters and short staffed. Not their fault at all and they did their best. Everyone ate, was happy, but the staff were overwhelmed. Great job though!!

Pool! Ice machine was nearby, quiet area and rooms. Nice restaurant (had drinks and dessert). Nice lobby & grounds, pleasant employees, rooms fine w/large refrigerator.

Comforter in room was damaged. Was difficult too reach reception and automated system was useless. Took over an hour too handle getting a replacement comforter. Pool gate card reader broken. Offered room service but reception said they were short staffed.

It's decent property for the money. If you're traveling with pets ask for a ground floor room as they all have sliding glass doors out to a little patio. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by.

Dated interior. Pool/hot tub were not in service. The ice maker in our building was barely functional.

Easy location, clean and comfortable! Staff was friendly and helpful! Very dog friendly location.

No 1st floor rooms available and no elevator access for 2nd floor. Keys needed replacing every day, regardless of keeping them away from magnetic or electronics.

beautiful room and the restaurant was phenomenal.

paid for a room with a view of the lagoon and we got was a hint and mainly most of the view was obstructed by the tree. and one of our night stands had something sticky (coffee spill) I believe.

The way the resort was set up. We came for a quick stop on our way to the north; but ended up loving the place and the nearby waterfront. It was set up really nice with lights at night.
