Cleanliness and location

I have stayed here several times and always had great experiences and will continue to stay here.The stay was great again,with one exception:I had booked over a month in advance and requested a first floor room facing front parking lot.I got a second floor room facing back.While I was waiting to check in a lady in front of me,who just walked in with NO reservation,got a first floor room ( I watched her walk down the hall and I believe she was facing front). Made me wonder what good my advanced reservation was??Besides that,great stay!!

This was our second stay at this facility. We were so pleased with our first stay that this is our go to hotel. Everyone was unbelievably courteous and helpful with a sincere big smile. The breakfast was just right. A nice assortment to please anyone yet not to pretentious. The girl working the breakfast area, think her name was Christina, kept the whole area plenty full of food and clean. She was very friendly and would ask how our previous day was remembering what we were doing that particular day. She obviously was very sincere in our conversation. She made the time with everyone for the same reason making us feel almost at home. Again everyone and everything was great but Christina was phenomenal. Not sure what you pay her but she's worth a lot more. We'll definitely see you again. Happy holidays to you and your staff.

Not a thing

I loved everything about this place. Even the fresh lemon water in the lobby. The bathroom was closed off and spacious.The room was spacious as well! With a bench near the door to sit and put on your shoes. There are outlets everywhere! Bring your laptop, tablet, whatever you can definitely enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the king size bed and it was like my 9 year old was never there. The scent for the soap, shampoo etc was great and after washing my hair I felt relieved that the shampoo didn't make my hair feel weird like in some other hotels. So if you leave your shampoo, have comfort knowing the shampoo at Best Western will not disappoint. Also, we had a non smoking room on a non smoking floor and you can tell it was definitely non smoking because there were no hint of smoke in the atmosphere. I really appreciated that as that has not been an experience of mine I the past with "non smoking rooms".

It wasn't an issue for me but maybe someone who desires to sleep in the dark wouldn't like this. I had the 3rd floor facing the parking lot. Which means the street light glared in our room. I wasn't sure how to close the blinds and didn't want to get into a tug of war match so it stayed open. The coffee maker is not dummy proof.

Convenient, right off the highway. Everything was very well kept and comfortable. Quiet room. Professional and friendly staff. Great coffee machine in the breakfast area that was easy to use; could choose many different coffee styles, including espresso. Sufficient food choices for breakfast. It was smoker-friendly (no smoking inside, of course), but outside each exit there was a place to sit (or a picnic table) and an ashtray.

I really can't think of anything.

I would have rated this hotel highly even before the above and beyond service I received after my stay. We chose this hotel for the ease of access on our road trip and allowed dogs. We also have a 5 month old so FL to NC required an overnight stop. I can say it’s a very dog friendly location with a great yard out back to let them run. Also generally a great stay for the value. Fast forward to the day of checkout- I realized I sent an expensive stroller and baby food maker to the hotel instead of our rental. They not only contacted me immediately to let me know of my mistake but they kept my items safe and secure for 2 weeks! I applaud the management team for their communication, honesty, and service. I can’t thank them enough! A stellar management team combined with the generally great hotel makes it a perfect choice.

No complaints

My wife and I like Hampton Hotels and decided to check out Best Western at this location. It turned out to be very close to a Hampton Inn in all respects. Very Good Hotel. The building was aged somewhat but it had been renovated and was in good condition. We will plan to stay there again as we anticipate we will be traveling that way soon. Much better value than the Hampton for the money at the same level of quality. Good job guys.

Comfortable

The clients. There were kids running around, a parent who wasn't watching them and wanted to argue with the front desk lady when she spoke to him in regards to the kids possibly getting burned and needing supervision. For breakfast, the same family was all over the place (all 7 of them). Another man helped himself to half the dish of bacon!!! It looks like you get all kinds at this hotel, unfortunately.

Great breakfast and the attendant was exceptional. The hotel was quiet and clean.Great location off I-95.Plenty of nearby restaurants.Price was very reasonable.Hotel,in my opinion,is a bit of a hidden gem-on the main drag,yet a little secluded.

Requested a first floor room upon booking,which was several weeks in advance ,and upon arrival was told they were totally booked and couldn’t give me a first floor room.Still a great experience and will stay there again when travelling in that area.

The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. It's always nice to be able to start your day with a hot breakfast. The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice way to relax in the evening.

They definitely need better pillows. If I hadn't had to fly in, I would have brought my own. I had 4 pillows for a king size bed and they were about the size of a throw pillow and very soft. That is literally my only complaint for the entire stay.

The staff were very friendly. Love the lemon water. The atmosphere was great. They are dog friendly. We were comfortable in our room. They had a good breakfast. Love the little Keurig coffee maker in the room.

Not a big deal but the building was a bit dated but very clean and decorated nicely. I personally wish they had a modern hand held shower head that you can take down to shower with so you can get closer to certain parts of the body. If I ever get a hotel with these it is a huge bonus. Alot of the handicap rooms use them. I have actually gotten a handicap room before just because of the the hand held shower head. All the cruise ships use them and I have seen some in campgrounds. Ofcourse our camper has one and definitely at home.
