Nice hotel with a great location

They have policy to service the room once a week. Also, the to get the fresh towels you have to get your used towels to front desk and then only they will get you fresh set of towels. It is inconvenient

Very well equipped and homely 1 bedroomed apartment. Hotel was nice and quiet, tuck shop/kiosk at the reception is good and staff were fantastic. We also paid extra for the riverside window views which was worth it. Location is also brilliant - close to supermarket, shopping mall, restaurants and the subway to Manhattan and NYC. The Hudson riverside is about 1 minute walk away and you get the most unbelievable New York views both at day and night time. The area is perfectly safe for walking at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable for the third person to sleep in. The mattress springs are hard. The hotel should provide a good quality mattress topper for it.

Good location to visit NYC. Easy transportation to Manhattan, both the Financial District and midtown. It is a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops. Convenient kitchenette. The room was comfortable. The staff was kind and tried to be helpful. The hotel does not provide any room service. The lack of service was not communicated at booking. We receive information on their policies at check-in. It was too late to find a better accommodation. The hotel was not cheap. It was more than 300$ per night. So, the value per dollar was very low.

We stayed 10 days. No room service was provided during the stay. We have to take the trash out. We were required to take used towels and lines to the front desk. We did that on the morning of our sixth day there. We were expected to wait for the personnel to wash and dry the linens. We did not get clean linens until past midnight and had to set the bed ourselves. Even though we had booked the room until January 2, we were awakened by a cleaning person on the morning of January 1 at 9:00 a.m. They were mistakenly attempting to get the room ready for the next guest.

I was pleased with our choice to stay here. We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 3 weeks during the Christmas holidays. I had read some not-so-great reviews and was unsure what to expect but we were very happy with this hotel. It was much more affordable to stay here and take the PATH train than comparable places in NY. The PATH train is an easy 9-minute walk. We had no issues using it or the metro. Our view was lovely- the NY skyline and the World Trade Center were visible from our window. The room was big enough for the 4 of us and was clean. Free washers and dryers are nice with a longer stay, and we used the kitchenette. The staff were friendly. There are restaurants, grocery stores, a mall, a target, and more all within walking distance or a short Uber ride. The area was safe and pleasant to walk along the water. Liberty State Park is a short drive from the hotel.

As the rooms are cleaned weekly, it would be nice if the rooms included a broom and some basic cleaning items so that we can clean it ourselves. Naturally, things get untidy but we had nothing to clean or sweep with. The room had a dishwasher but it did not clean the dishes well. There were not enough utensils for 4 people.

What a brilliant week we had in Jersey City. The location is amazing- 5 minutes walk from the Path train to WTC and with a fabulous view to Manhattan. The apartment was spacious and comfy, with a great well equipped kitchen. There was the option to hire kitchen appliances but these were in short supply during our stay. We still managed to cook on the stove and in the microwave. The apartment was really well stocked with everything you need such as shampoo, shower gel, washing up liquid, bin bags and tea towel so you really don’t need to bring much. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New York.

Shower was quite poor and could do with updating

Great rooms for a family, the queen suites accommodate a third person on a sofa bed easily. Rooms are comfortable, lots of great storage for suitcases etc. Water was available in the gym for free. There's a supermarket shelf of milk, water and basic food open all the time. Location was great, very close to the harbor and the path train which goes directly to World Trade Centre. Reception staff are helpful. I would stay again!

There are no electric kettles in the rooms, and none were available from reception. An extra jug for water would be helpful, generally kitchens had little crockery etc for a family. Also our second booking was messed up by the hotel but they kindly gave us another room. There's no room cleaning service unless you stay 7 days minimum.

The staff were exceptional. The location was just great….any easy walk to ferries, light rail PATH trains and supermarket. There was a very handy shop at the reception which we used on our arrival as it was 6am. Jersey City was a lovely spot and very, very quiet. The light rail trains went by on our side of the building at a distance but very unintrusive. Curtains were great, they blocked out the light so the room stayed dark until ready to get up. Full size fridge was great for our groceries shop.

The only thing that I thought would be good is to have a dispenser for washing liquid and dryer sheets in the laundry room. I got there to wash and there was nothing there…of course I forgot to look in the shop. Not a negative but just thought it would be handy.

The location is almost perfect. There is easy connection to WTC just one stop with the PATH (only disadvantage is that you need to buy separate ticket). The room was clean and exactly as on the picture. There are just couple of the thinks I'd recommend to consider ordering room from sonesta: - the refrigerator can be from time-to-time really laud. Even in the middle of the night - room orientation towards the public transportation trams - someone might not like it - eventhought the bed is confortable and reasonably soft, for longer stay I'd considere king size bed for couple

Everything was clean and functional with no issue. I'd maybe remark some equipment could be replaced - like the laudy refrigerator, or some shower handler (which were a bit shaky). Don't get me wrong, it all worked perfectly - just small glitches.

Very convenient to New York City, 7 mins walk to Exchange Place Path station and 1 stop to WTC. Hotel room was a good size room with a kitchenette, which has a full size refrigerator, dish washer and a small cooking unit, we did not use the kitchen this time because we were there for two days only, next time if we stay longer, it will come in handy for at least making breakfast.

We got a room on the side that was next to the trams track, we can hear the trams up until 2 am on Saturday and it was hard to go to sleep. We will try to ask for a room on the other side next time.

Excellent location in Jersey City. Spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Hotel was very quiet. Stored luggage for us after checking out prior to heading to airport.

Not proper table in the room for eating meals. Few hooks in the bathroom for towels to dry. For a long stay only changed the bathroom towels once a week which meant they smelled. Lack of proper designated recycle bins on each floor. floor.
