Although the hotel was built in the 1980s, it is very well maintained and the retro furniture looks like new! amazing experience for an architecture lover with nostalgics from the 1980s, 1990s! and very very very clean! The location is amazing just across the street from Maria Pia beach, and only 30 mins of walking to the center of alghero, and 15 mins with the bus to the airport. The pool facility with the games are totally woth it! mini golf for 1 euro per person! babyfoot table for 0.5 Euro! you cannot get those prices anywhere in 2023!

The variety of the breakfast! it was the same every day (although it was appreciated it was not only croassant and coffee like many other hotels). This can be fixed with a small change in the cheese variety every other day for example!

The very helpful staff who were very welcoming, professional, and efficient. The hotel and facilities were kept incredibly clean and well maintained. The attention to detail and commitment was very much appreciated. The fact that many guests return (see other reviews) is reassuring. A solid, no frills, and reliable holiday base only 40mins walk, or short drive/bus ride into Alghero. And of course, the proximity to the fabulous beach just over the road. 5 mins walk from the hotel through the wooded area to the sand dunes and beach, with clear sea and great swimming. The decor is reminiscent of the late 70s/early 80s, but I liked the retro vibe as the turquoise, cream and orange make you smile.

Staff friendly and happy especially the breakfast staff. Very attentive always replacing food that was running low. The breakfast was very good- wide selection 3 types of eggs, fresh fruits, yogurts, cold cuts of meat, breads, pastry from donuts to pancakes to croissants and a barista who makes lovely coffee. However it was the same everyday and it did get boring after the 4th night, luckily we was only there for 5 nights. Considering it is an old building and the decor etc are outdated but the hotel is very clean. Bed was comfortable, decent size room with only a fridge. Zero sound proof- can hear every single sound- for this reason we wont return here. We wanted to have good peaceful sleep, so having a comfy bed was good but the sound is awful. Room next door would sneeze and you can hear it. Someone upstairs moves a chair and it makes an awful sound. The hotel overall is quite noisy.

The swimming pool was absolutely lovely—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist with anything we needed. One of the highlights was the courtesy room provided after check-out. Since we had to check out at 10 a.m. and our flight wasn’t until late in the evening, having access to a clean and comfortable space to freshen up and shower made a big difference. It was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture that added real value to our experience. Little touches like this show the hotel’s attention to guest comfort, and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely setting with mature planting,definitely deserving of its name as it was an oasis. The location was ideal for a good walk into the old town and access to the beautiful beach across the road. The food was amazing and we chose to book dinner in addition to our breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel, although now a little dated, was impeccably clean and well presented. The pool area was clean, bright and beautifully planted, providing ample shade in addition to the sun loungers. All in all a very relaxing environment.

The hairdryer was a little underpowered. We noticed sound travelled through the walls but we were not affected as the rooms were not all occupied.

- very good location: it's quite close to the airport as well as across the road of a popular beach (Maria Pia). The city center is a 45 minute walk so it is perfect if you don't want to rent a car or rely on public transport; - the hotel is very clean: it always smells really nice and is well looked after; - the breakfast was amazing: it has great variety, lots of options. They bring more before a dish gets finished; - they had some live music nights which were nice; - wifi was good.

- the pillows were not very comfortable; - the rooms are a bit old and outdated.

The staff were incredibly helpful at this resort. They patiently answered all of our queries and kindly spoke fluent English. Very impressed! The room was very clean and loved that they provided a clothes rack for drying off clothes and swimsuits. As it’s so close to the beach that you’ll be swimming most of your stay. The breakfast was huge and recommend including it in your stay. They had a lovely barista making coffee every morning. He served up tasty cappuccinos and latte macchiatos. He also kindly explained the difference of the drinks to me and made me one when they were about to close. What a sweetheart! Look forward to staying again. The walls are somewhat thin, so you can hear your neighbors every now and then.

The location is perfect, loved the lush greenery, palms and flowers all over the premises, the pool looked nice although we didn't use it. Spatious balcony, fresh towels every day. Loved that the hotel has a self-service laundry room (for an additional charge but still very useful). Solid breakfast.

The room was very small, with barely any space around the bed, but we got used to it, and the balcony sort od compensated for it. The hotel uses a strong chemical for cleaning, the smell was unbearable on the first day.

Hotel had everything we needed as an extended family, swimming pool lovely not too busy, staff friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast great, lots of flowers and trees within the complex which made it very pretty, lots of facilities to cater for all ages. Lovely beach 5 mins walk away.

The hotel was a 35 min walk into the centre of Alghero but reception staff happy to book a taxi €10-12 each way, but enough restaurants with 10-15 min walk so didn’t need to go into the centre. Walls were quite thin between rooms.

Loved the beach across the road, absolutely beautiful, clean, clear , practical white sand . Loved the swimming pool, i recommend the bar/ restaurant by the pool more than the hotel restaurant. Really enjoyed some delicious pasta dishes at pool restaurant. Staff were great. Hotel was clean.

Breakfast was fair, decent selection but nothing special. I had one evening meal which was nothing memorable either. Go into the old town & enjoy the restaurants there . Room was basic.
