Absolutely fantastic location right by the Piazza Grande. Such a warm welcome and very helpful reception next to the main entrance to the apartments. The rooms are in a beautiful old building and mine was up several flights of stairs - no lift - which was fine for me but bear in mind if you struggle with stairs. Room was a very good price and had everything I needed for a short stay, it was lovely and warm and had a kitchenette (although I didn’t use it). The floors are wooden and so you may hear people walking around at night if you’re a light sleeper. I always travel with ear plugs so it wasn’t a problem. All in all, a fabulous stay in a gorgeous location and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
The bed had a plastic cover under the cotton sheet which I’m not used to and it rustled and scrunched up a bit! But I got used to it and I guess it helps keep the mattress clean. The shower head in my bathroom wasn’t the best, only a minor thing and the water was certainly lovely and hot!

The apartment is in the very centre of Arezzo, in Piazza Grande, very well located with easy acess to every key spot by walk. The condicions are very good, everything was perfectly clean and the bedroom has more than enough space, very good conditions. We were welcomed by Simona, who was very friendly during the entire stay and was 100% available to help us and guarantee that we had the best experience possible, also recomending some very good restaurants! Thanks to Simona for all the attention and good welcoming! Totally recomend this spot

comfortable bed, large room, heated towel rack, location, staff was so helpful and welcoming, room was clean and decor was very nice, wish we would have been able to stay longer but we only has one night before we departed, I think the room with the kitchenette was so nice and wish we had stayed at least one more night
only hand soap in the room, wish there would have been more toiletries for convenience, the espresso maker is very nice - maybe option to make hot tea would be additional option as well

Location is excellent. Easy to get to from either the parking lot or the train station. It is about a 20 minute walk from either, although from different directions. The room was clean and comfortable. The room had kitchen facilities but though we did not use the kitchen.
Things changed from the last time we stayed there (2 years ago). They used to provide a breakfast voucher for breakfast -- no longer. They had a new check in process which is now in their wine shop next to the hotel entrance. They used to have a gratis bottle of their wine in your room waiting for you when you checked in -- no longer. It appears, rightly or wrongly, that management has changed. Things change. So, comparing to our last stay it was a little disappointing, but not enough for us ((3 families (9 people) in 3 rooms)) to have a bad stay. Based on our past stay 2 years ago, and our recent stay, I would think twice about staying at La Corte del Re.

The building is beautiful - very old and historical but with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom in the room we stayed in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked that there was an aircon in the room for warm days and the location is great - about 15-20 minute walk to the train station but literally right on the main square and surrounded by shops and restaurants.
We were hoping for a view of the main square but instead got a different room with a mezzanine. We would have gladly paid a bit more to guarantee a room with a view! The room was also 68 steps up to the top of the building (yes we counted!) So be wary if you have lots of luggage!

Convenience to the Piazza and air conditioning in the room (which was a necessity) worked perfectly.
Strange that there was not at least a bottle of water in the refrigerator upon check-in, but I was offered a jar of Strawberry jam at check-in. A very kind gesture, and quite delicious, but water at least after hiking up 4 floors would have been appreciated. Right outside my room there was an old gate people use to go in and out of a walkway. It squeaks terribly. I suggest some lubricant to deal with the noise as it was very annoying at 5AM or midnight. Even Olive Oil would work. ;-)

We loved the location, very central for all Arezzo attractions, plenty of good restaurants. Accommodation was as described and met our expectations.
The shower cubicle was very small and cramped. Shower itself was fine. Property description states that breakfast voucher will be given for local cafe. We were not offered a breakfast voucher but owner offered her own breakfast pack which she sells for €10 per day/per person. We declined the offer to purchase her breakfast pack.

We were notified a day or two before arriving that the room was not available due to a plumbing problem. Happily they had an alternative about a block away. This room was very nice, but a bit rustic. It had a huge separate bathroom that contained a shower and a jacuzzi. The location was perfect. There was a large TV and could watch Netflix.
The kitchen had a full set of glasses and silverware, but no plates or bowls. That seemed odd. The shower had no glass on the sides and allowed water to leak all over the floor.

The price-quality ratio was just outstanding. My room was huge, and I loved being in an historic building right in Arezzo's beautiful main square. What I loved the most was how kind the girl welcoming me and my friend was when I arrived. She was very proud about her job and her company, which also makes biological wine. She offered a bit of that too, and it was just amazing to be greeted in such a generous manner. So looking forward coming again. Highly recommended

The room we had (Michaelangelo) was spacious and well appointed. The room had a glorious view over the main Piazza and conveniently located for walking to all the main Arezzo attractions.
The famous clock in the square rings all night (on the quarter hour) so no good for light sleepers. There is no car access and if you have a lot of luggage then it is a serious schlep up the hill from the nearest commercial carpark.
