This is a lovely B&B and deserves its high ranking. You are made to feel very welcome and it does feel you are staying in a friend's house. The location is brilliant for exploring the wonderful city of Arezzo. The city is a gem and full of beautiful art-your hostess is very knowledgeable and can advise on what to see. There are great things to see with far fewer tourists that in many other cities in the Region. Don't miss this one! It's full of good food and good wine -take the advice from the host as to where to eat. It's also a great place to stroll. We spent a sunny afternoon in the park behind the cathedral reading our books and enjoying watching everyone going about their lives. There was a very good cafe there. It felt a bit like a moment from Perfect Day song. We dropped in for coffee, pastries and a large glass of wine at Le Golosita-so welcoming and tasty. You can visit local villages on the bus as well. We went to the home city of Piero della Francesca as some of his best work in the civic museum there as well as the church of St Francis in Arezzo. We had a wonderful time here and could have stayed longer that our four nights.

Everything! The host, Sara, welcomed me and made sure I was Comfortable. My room was very clean, quaint, and very comfortable. She made a generous, fresh breakfast with great caffè each day. Sara has full knowledge of the history of Arezzo and her love for the town shows. She is helpful in planning what to see. Her knowledge of art makes the visits to the great masterpieces there a true enlightening experience. Follow her recommendations for restaurants. She willead you to fantastic local places with food that .ages you hum while you eat. I will definitely stay here again.

Sara the host and owner was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for food, history and sight seeing. Sara prepared a lovely breakfast and was very helpful in providing instructions to access the property from the Car park. There are a series of escalators that help one to move their luggage from the car park to the property. There are two car parks on the North side - one paid and one free.

Everything was excellent and met my expectations.

Everything was perfect, we were nicely welcome, the room was spacious as well as the bathroom, the apartment was very cosy and well situated. Guests have to put their car just outside the center but there is a lift to the top (but you can also take your car almost in front of the B&B to unload your suitcase).

Really nothing.

The location is outstanding, only 150 metres from the Duomo and 250 from the Piazza Grande and San Francisco. Everything is within easy reach. The room was a perfect size, immaculate, delightfully quiet and cool despite the near 40C heat outside. The breakfast, ordered to taste, was heroic in scale and delicious. Sara the host is cheerful, hugely enthusiastic and most helpful with local information. Strongly recommended for a couple wishing to see the lovely small city of Arezzo. Long stay car parking is available 7 minutes walk away at Via Giuseppe Pitri (E5/day) using the public escalators to avoid the climb and a handy short cut through the Duomo cloisters. If you send Sara your vehicle number she arranges permission to bring your car into the restricted area and to the door to drop and collect cases.

Although this suited us ideally, it wouldn’t be a good choice for anyone with impaired mobility. The street from the centre is quite steep, and the house has no lift.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at de’Montetini which is located in the heart of historical Arezzo and convenient to everything. Our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and extremely pretty. A generous breakfast of savoury and/or sweet food was served in the cosy breakfast room was a great way to start each day. Sara, our amazing host, was a delight and made us feel so welcome. She also provided lots of information and helpful hints. As there are only 3 bedrooms, de’Montetini has an intimate atmosphere and became our ‘home away from home’. We were sad to leave.

Sara is a wonderful host. The B&B is on 1st floor, close to the Duomo, although nothing is far in Arezzo. My breakfast, each morning was delicious. The bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable. It is a delightful place to stay.

In a charming B&B in the centre of historic Arezzo, it was the owner’s warm demeanour that made us feel instantly at home. With her professional knowledge of art and architectural history, Sara took the trouble to point out Arezzo’s top cultural sites, and offered to make us dinner reservations at her recommended restaurants. The next morning, we woke up to a lovingly prepared breakfast of cakes, breads, cereal, cut fruit, yogurt and marmalades. Over the best cappuccino in Tuscany, we thanked the kind owner for an incredibly warm welcome to a surprisingly lovely city.

The breakfast was excellent! Our hostess Sarah is very kind and helpful, including assistance in booking appointments and helping with a dinner reservation. Location was excellent, and the room was very quiet.

Nicely decorated and spacious room. Sara is a very welcoming host. Very good breakfast. Located in the centre of Arezzo, with many sights and restaurants nearby.

The central location also means it's a bit far (and partly uphill) from the station.
