Just perfect! Great place to both relax and visit Tuscan cities. Very friendly staff, available to help and make your stay as good as possible (Ewa is the best!). Delicious food - starting from breakfasts, ending with dinners in the restaurant. Wide selection of cocktails and meals (including lunch). Very pleasant swimming pool (c.a. 130 cm deep) and sun lounger area. Perfect base for visits to Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Arezzo, Cortona. Exceptional cleanliness throughout the property – both the rooms and common areas were spotless, which is quite rare to find in Tuscany. Great WiFi in the whole area. Big parking place.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Schiatti. The food at breakfast and at the restaurant for dinner was all delicious. The setting is exactly what you want for a Tuscan villa - lovely old-worldly courtyard and stunning views of the countryside. The rooms feel old fashioned but not in a bad way - as to be expected as they are part of an old building - still fine and comfortable. The staff were great - very helpful and friendly.

The shower head in our room wasn't great and sometimes would suddenly fall backwards and spray water up over the shower stall. It would also be good to have a drying rack somewhere for wet togs and towels.

The Villa was situated within a 30-00 min drive from the towns we visited. Bring your walking shoes as most towns are high on the hill and with cobbled streets. Daily breakfast was fantastic. We ate dinner at the villa several times and the food and service was fantastic. The staff was friendly and responsive - they were especially helpful in guiding our group on sites to see, in making advance reservations, passing along insider tips on where to park, etc. The owner actively interacted with the guests which was very welcoming.

The property is so quiet and serene, with beautiful views of Cortona. The staff is phenomenal and helpful in planning and booking any activities you want to do or places you want to visit. However, make sure you plan many days before you arrive. The breakfast each morning was plentiful and full of variety! We also enjoyed paid dinners and every meal was delicious!! The property is easily accessible by car, which can be rented in Florence or Arezzo (we took a train to Arezzo Station and rented a car from Avis, which is right across the street from the station). Everything was great! It is also possible to arrange pickup with the Villa from Arezzo (again, book many days ahead of your arrival) if you don’t want to rent a car. However, it is highly recommended.

This is an exceptionally beautiful villa with exquisite views of the aria (Tuscany)- a historic building, yet one doesn't miss anything for a comfortable vacation. Very friendly and accommodating staff, many members of which speak more than two foreign languages. Meals they serve, are based entirely on the local produce and are super delicious, wines are personally picked from Alen, the Manager, who is an expert in wine history, produce and selection. The breakfasts are truly amazing with freshly baked selection of cakes and biscuits (6-7varieties every morning), assortment of cheeses, hams and prosciutto and surely - their espresso is absolutely fantastic!!!

Maybe a pair of slippers and bathrobes would be just a good addition to the comfort of the rooms.

Hotel's architecture fits perfectly into Tuscany area. Stone and wood is what you get here. Very nice impression. Rooms are comfortable, average in size and very clean (daily cleaning service). A/C works great. Surrounding is very quiet (except for cicadas). View is very nice for a panorama of Tuscan fields of sunflowers, olives and vineyards. Breakfasts are very tasty with great variety of food including Italian hams and cheese. Coffee is truly perfect as you should expect in Italy. Swimming pool is a nice addition with enough sunbeds available. Hotel serves drinks and lunch at your request. All the staff are very helpful and chatty, especially the manager. Greets also to Ewa who speaks Polish. Safe parking is available. You can get to beautiful old-city centre of Cortona in 10 minutes by car. We will be happy to visit this place again.

There were some minor issues with electricity. Lights were occasionally blinking, especially in the bathrooms. They're partially fixed during our stay.

The road to the hotel is sideways and narrow, the signage is clear and allows continuous access to the hotel, which is revealed around the corner, a very nicely renovated and maintained building, the furniture is adapted to the nature of the hotel and the place, we got a room for three adults and a dog, the ascent to the room via a unique elevator with its slowness, the room is spacious, equipped, comfortable and clean, the view through the windows is amazing It was beautiful, the staff was inviting and helpful, the breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious, at the back exit you go out to a square with a large pool that overlooks the view and complements it without a doubt, a place to return to

Most importantly, everyone who worked there was lovely. They thought about everything and were very attentive. The food at dinner was lovely (try the ragu or pistacchio tortellini- to die for) with a spectacular breakfast selection. The Villa is situatd looking over the plains of Tuscany - the view is spectacular and you see it from the eating terrace and the pool. The swimming pool is just gorgeous and, when the sun becomes too much, there is a lovely dappled shade courtyard where we spent time sipping aperols and reading. I had to be taken to hospital when there and the owner was brilliant in supporting us durng and after my time in hospital.

It did not trouble us at all, but the rooms, though large, are quite dated. I guess this is why the stay represented such good value. The trade off worked very well for us. Everything else there was wonderful

Beautiful, quiet setting with lovely views. The staff were highly attentive and friendly. We loved the quirky, original decor and homely ambience. There are plenty of different areas to chill out and relax in. The swimming pool is amazing with top-quality sun-loungers, umbrellas, side tables and chairs. There is also a Jacuzzi. Our dual-aspect bedroom, with good quality air-conditioning, was wonderful with nice views of the countryside and pool. The breakfast is phenomenal, and was included in the price. (They were particularly good at catering for gluten-free). We liked the hassle-free 'tab' system where drinks and food purchases are paid for at the end of your stay. This was clearly itemised and printed off for us to see. The roof-top restaurant provided top-quality food priced at the local-rate. (The price of a meal there was comparable to that of a good restaurant in near-by Cortona.) We will definitely be returning to Villa Schiatti in the future, and would highly recommend it.

This is the most beautiful Villa we have ever stayed in, located in the heart of Tuscany. Every detail has been carefully considered – the interior design reflects a remarkable sense of style and attention to detail. The dinner terrace offers a stunning view, creating a truly special atmosphere. Breakfasts are not only delicious but also generous. In the evening, the courtyard becomes simply magical – a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
