This was unbelievable value! The staff were the highlight, meeting our every need, including a pot of tea late at night when I was feeling poorly! Even bottles of wine and pizza a 2am after our wedding party! Everything we asked for they provided, ironing room, food, drinks, information! It was all perfect! thank you so much to Irfan and co for making our stay so delightful! We will be back to cortona!

The room we had, and not all the rooms are like this, toilet down some steep stairs and bathroom other side. No hand rail to go down to toilet. I did mention this so hopefully it will be fixed. In saying this, room 215 is possibly the only one with this configuration

If you love old-world charm then this facility is perfect. It has so much history and boasts the most beautiful old furniture. We loved our stay here. A special thank you to Fransesca who was the perfect breakfast host!

Extremely nice and hands on staff. Location right in the heart of town, beautiful, authentic hotel with very stylefully decorated rooms. Great breakfast and just an overall very pleasant stay, what a gem.

I love how old it was! That it was clean. The staff were amazingly helpful! I even met the owner and he was super lovely as was his furbaby! The entire experience at this hotel was just perfect! As a solo traveler I felt safe and well taken care of!

I found the staff very hospitable, helpful and kind particularly with going the extra mile to look up trains and where to buy tickets. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the staff y warm and accommodating.

We were upgraded from Hotel Piccolo to San Michelle Hotel. We had a slow water drainage problem the first day so the next day we were moved to a nice room next door. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a eggs, bacon, and wide variety of fruits, pastries, meats and cheeses. Staff was especially helpful. Great location near Piazza Republica
