Beautiful place, only 5 minutes drive to Cortona. The room was specious and very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The room had everything that we needed, there was also a fridge. The bathroom was also spacious. The breakfast was amazing, not only italian but also continental. It is a beautiful area, the garden, the pool, all is amazing, but you need to rent a car. I would definitely recommend it, we would come back anytime.

Dinner was a little bit chaotic, but everything else was perfect.

Borgo Il Melone is a charming hotel. We were kindly received, the rooms are spacious and clean, the swimming pool is lovely and the breakfast extensive and delicious! The cozy town of Cortona is a 10-minute drive away and is nice to visit, even if you only stay 1 night like us.

We have nothing to complain about!

The location the was great the pool was divine.. staff helpful lively white towels changed daily ..

The bed was so hard very uncomfortable and the cleanliness was below average.. bed was clean lovely white sheets .. there was dust lying round tops of lamps and mirrors and bathroom round shower and bath had black mould ..

Absolutely beautiful property! The staff were lovely, the breakfast was great, and the pool was so great to use after a hot day of exploring. The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner which we knew beforehand, though the town was only 5 mins drive for restaurants. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Location, accomodation, staff were friendly.

But don't have a problem with admin as the language was a problem and they stick to what they know. We had a problem where we paid tax with booking.com then had to pay it again at the accomofation.

Room was spacious and lovely . The quality of the breakfast wasn’t as good as in many other places that I’ve stayed in Italy. Also the restaurant was closed during our stay which wasn’t ideal

Roads on property were terribly unkempt. Deep pot holes, no new gravel, slippery walk down from parking lot. Could not cool our hot room with air conditioner. Didn’t have any good night sleeps as our building baked in sun all day and held the heat!

All was great and above expectations... the real Italian experience!

We missed mosquito screens, not expensive or difficult and indispensable... Little light in our room, was romantic, but sometimes you need light :-)

The staff was very friendly and great! I never ate the breakfast, but looked good! The location is excellent and very safe.

my bed was hard as a rock and it was very noisy. You can hear all the guests fairly well, slamming doors, etc.

This hotel is picturesque and has a great garden setting. The rooms are large and I loved the view from the window onto the wisteria in bloom. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The croissants were freshly baked. I would definitely recommend a visit to this establishment.
