The entire experience at Anna’s B&B was exceptional. She has a way of making you feel very much at home and has created a place that is not only beautiful but also very welcoming and comfortable. It has been the highlight of our visit to Italy this time.

Procedure with lift bit complicated but worked fine

The location is excellent, within walking distance of many sights, if not all. Loved that even when it is located in the old part of town that it has an elevator. The only issue is that the owner or someone has to always be home in order to let you in the property and to use the elevator that goes directly to their property, for security reasons and thus I felt bad for the owner. Most B&Bs located in the old parts of towns have no elevators and thus you have to carry your luggage up multiple stairs. The bed in our room was very comfortable with a firm mattress, the way I like it. The shower was a good size with plenty of water pressure and the room has an air conditioner in it, which was necessary since the day we arrived it was 37 degrees Celsius or 99 degrees Fahrenheit!!! There was plenty of wardrobe space, in case you are staying for multiple days and need to hang things up. And the most important thing is that Anna, the owner, is the kindest person you could have to deal with. She was always available via WhatsApp or by calling, she was full of information as to where to eat or what sights to see and gave us information whenever we needed it. If she didn't know it, she'd research it for us.

Anna serves a typical Italian breakfast, as expected, but not being Italian I didn't partake in having breakfast at the B&B after our first morning there because I usually am very picky and don't like eating sweet things for breakfast. The sweetest thing I'll usually eat is jam on whole wheat or multigrain bread. I try to stay away from white things including sugar. Anna is not to know my taste in food and so I cannot expect her to cater for me but she was very willing to make or buy something that we wanted. I believe my wife did ask for whole wheat bread for the next day. She did have some great yogurts in her refrigerator and did tell us to help ourselves whenever we wanted.
