The facilities were gorgeous, historic yet renovated with modern conveniences. Our room was very large with a desk that made it easy for hair styling and makeup. (Tip: Don't get a pool-view room; those are smaller. Get the larger room for less €, and go outdoors for the view.) A mini fridge fit water bottles, and staff brought more directly to the room as needed. Robes and shoes were provided for both the room and for spa use. Our room doors and walls provided incredible sound-proof privacy. The free breakfast was abundant with pastries, yogurts, fruits, cheeses, and more. The thermal spas, saunas, and series of spa rooms along with "summer water" flavored with herbs and lemons provided the ultimate pampering experience. I loved relaxing in the sun on the cushioned recliners with the surreal panoramic view of vineyards, olive trees, and castles in the distance. The property was calm, quiet, and very peaceful, with morning doves wooing throughout the day. There were maybe 10-12 other couples at the outdoor spa while we were there; yet I think we all felt like we had the place to ourselves. I overheard staff speaking fluent Italian, English, Dutch, and French -- the diversity was heavenly! Views in every direction were stunning. Val d'Orcia was a few minutes drive away with iconic scenes from paintings and movies like Gladiator and Under the Tuscan Sun. For my spouse and I, this area is the most beautiful place on earth! Numerous restaurants were in walking distance in a loop for the tiny town of Bagno Vignoni. Nearby Pienza has an abundance of more dining options and views as well.

It was 95F (35C) crazy hot, and the only spa experiences involved heat, with water as hot or hotter than the air. I feared getting heat exhaustion, so I didn't partake in as many spa activities as I wanted. I would have liked an ice bath or "cool" pool/shower option to help normalize body temperature, especially with new research that ice baths have health benefits. Water cost $2/bottle, which seemed contradictory to encouraging more facility use on hot days. We spent $44 on water over our 3 night stay. It would be nice if water was included for hotel guests.

We found this place just by looking around on a map. I had no idea how amazing it would be. I was blown away by the entire hotel. The views from the lawn never got old. The decor in the hotel was beautiful. The thermal pools were incredibly relaxing. My favorite area had to be Bar Verde with the record player. A very nice touch. More than anything, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. A birthday I will never forget.

The setting was very tranquil, the spa encouraged total relaxation and unplugging from the stress of everyday life. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was enough to do locally to keep the days interesting, didn't get to do all of it. Also loved the card and board games in the lounge before and after dinner.

Beautiful setting, beautiful dining room with a beautiful view, my son and husband enjoyed the massage. Staffs are very efficient and welcoming ,spa pool was wonderful. Breakfast was splendid . We could play and listen to the old records of your choice in the bar .

We could have stayed a little longer if we have special offers for the longer stay .

We spent 5 days in Albergo Posta Marcucci. It was fantastic time especially because of very kind and helpful staff. Starting from check-in until check-out we fill like in between good friends. The rooms are comfortable, and everything was as it should be. The pools are really very warm, and we feel relaxing in the bath and at the couches. The restaurant has excellent food as well at the breakfast and the dinner. I strongly recommend this Hotel not only to spend a time at the pool but also to make a short trips across Tuscany countryside, visiting nice towns nearby. Many thanks to the Hotel Manager for his help in time organisation.

The hotel was amazing! We had a very good time. The hotel is quiet, has huge relaxing thermal pools, faces beautiful mountains, and the decor is stunning, it can’t get any better! The restaurant also has very good food, and the free breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and tasty! We liked the hotel being secluded and a perfect size for relaxation. The staff there was all very polite and professional. We spoke with Michele and Claudia a lot in the front desk. They are simply the best! This is the highlight of our entire trip. Thank you very much!

This was an amazing place to stay at! In general the staff was very helpful and communicated well. The facilities are very clean and the rooms as well. Very quiet environment, perfect to relax.

I wish they would help with transfers such as scheduling taxi pick up from train station. Some of the staff were rude to us, there was this one short bigger lady at the restaurant who did not want to give us any coffee.

The attention to detail was exceptional and the service levels were high with staff being polite and pleasant

We were told on arrival that there was no pronlem wearing the bathing gown at breakfast and when wearing the gown we were told to change or go to another part of the restaraunt which was a shame

We loved everything about this fabulous place...room, bathroom, supplies, dining space with amazing view, and of course the thermal pools and its environs. Bagno Vignoni is a beautiful place and we felt like we were back in time because of the old, medieval vibe there. It would be lovely to return in autumn/winter.

I really think their wine is an exorbitant price. They charged €18/glass there which, in the middle of Italys wine region is ridiculous. So...it forced us to eat at village restaurants where we could eat and drink beautiful local wine so much cheaper.

Wonderful little boutique hotel set in nature in a small village in Tuscany. Superb location aside historic natural hot springs that feed the many indoor and outdoor hotel pools (water temp is between 82 and 100 F, depending on the pool). Good food and friendly hotel staff. Very spacious common areas and large outdoor grounds (including a tennis court) given that they only have 38 rooms. So the hotel doesn't feel cramped at all even when they are fully booked.

Not much to say here. Certainly not cheap, but still worth the money arguably. Standard rooms are on the small side (which can be expected from a historic building), so if you prefer larger rooms I recommend you get a suite. The place is definitely "traditional" in the sense that e.g. tablecloths are being ironed after each meal and staff is "formal" in terms of attire and manners. Was totally fine with us.
