The best part of our stay was the interactions with Shaheen. Everytime he passed there was always a smile, a cheerful quick conversation and always checking to see if we needed anything. I enjoyed having a coffee bar right in the reception, and a restaurant onsite which was very nice. It had great ambience and food way better than you would expect. A comfy lounge downstairs and the fact it was pet friendly (we didn't travel with pets, but enjoyed having them around). The house cat Bishoo was awesome to say hello to around the property.

Number one is the really firm beds. A common thing in Italy, but these were the firmest we come across to the point we would get numbness. The air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat of daily sub to mid 30s, even when it ran all day and night with the curtains drawn. There was a miscommunication with the restaurant dinner special from Booking dot com being €3 pp more than quoted. Not a big deal, but this needs to be fixed for future guests. They did comp us two coffees in the end though to cover it which was welcome.

They have spa facilities, but what we did not know before getting there is that you would need to reserve the spa facilities for 2 hours and that you had to pay quite a bit per person for this. When on a roadtrip with only one night at the hotel, this is something you like to know beforehand when you are choosing the hotel. Also we thought we would have a room with a view on the town or the countryside, but we looked out on a parking and some houses on the other side of the hill. That said, we did not bring it up with the staff, as it was only for 1 night.

The hotel is old style and could do with some renovation. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was bordering on decent but could be improved by adding more choices. The hotel is conveniently located though and not far from Montepulciano historic center. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is 15 min walk from Montepulciano, up hill, so no car needed for that :) Staff is very, very friendly. Breakfast was good, maybe more European and less sweets would be great. Pool is indoor, but doors to the outdoor is open. Great location for the Tuscany exploration. We went to Mulino and Bagno St. Fillipo., Cortona,... it was all very nice.

The air in the pool was to much pooly for my taste, but kids did not smell it at all. Maybe if additional doors on other side of the pool would be open as well this would do the trick.

This is a very cute little hotel. It was a last minute booking and the communication with the hotel was great. It is also very affordable for a hotel in this lovely area. Very cozy and nice overall. Nice breakfast.

The room could benefit from some updating. It wasn't bad, just a bit old-fashioned. During breakfast, the cat came in the dining area and no one seemed to care. So, I guess it's a familiar cat, still, I didn't like that it was walking around the food.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. It was an older hotel but well looked after and located at the base of the old town of Montepulciano. It was a 20min walk uphill to the old historic centre but worth the walk. The rooms were comfortable and clean and spacious enough for a couple to sleep. Plenty of parking inside the hotel grounds.

No kettle in the room or coffee making facilities.

Amazing restaurant, view from the balcony, clean room and facilities. The room had a vintage country feel which we appreciated. The restaurant was amazing. Would 100% recommend to have at least one dinner there (best carbonara we had in all of italy). The breakfast was incredible as well. The spa facilities are very nice, so if you have a little extra money to splurge, you can have a nice private spa experience.

Attentive and friendly staff members. The sweet smile of the lady at the reception was already priceless. For 30 Euros per Person we had the sauna facilities just for ourselves. You can walk up to Montepulciano. The lunch and dinner menu at the restaurant is small but food is tasty.

Breakfast had mostly sweet stuff (4 cakes!) but I guess that's the Italian way. There are no prices displayed for the drinks in the fridge at the reception so we were a bit shocked to see a can of coke cost 3.50 Euro when checking out.

The Albergo was AMAZING! Every staff member was polite friendly, helpful, and smiled. The room was beautiful and we had a balcony where we sat and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine after a busy day. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect to visit the town of Montepulciano. Which is a must see. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast is included which was so incredible. Fresh baked goods, cappuccino, ham. Excellent! There isn't anything negative to say about the Albergo. I only wish we had more than one night planned. And, plenty of parking in their own lot.

There isn't anything we didn't like.

I loved everything, the pasta the wine breakfast the room the views from the room it was so calm and relaxing even though i didnt have time to use the pool i checked in late because it is so faaar from florence if you dont have a car is hard to reach. Thankfully Veronica the girl that work in reception helped me A LOT to figure out how to get there she was so kind and nice i loved her. Everything was perfect i strongly recommend this place if you want to be far from the crowds and really enjoy the tuscans lands. Gonna come back again.
