The fantastic location provides breathtaking views of the valley, making every moment special. The natural spa is wonderful, offering soothing thermal baths in a serene setting. Service is attentive and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. The spacious and elegant rooms add to the charm, with stunning valley views. To top it all off, the breakfast is excellent, featuring a delicious spread to start the day. A perfect retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation!

The spa facilities can get overcrowded, especially on weekends. However, for hotel guests, the first hour in the morning (8:30-9:30) remains quite peaceful, even on busy days. The Bormio ski resort is just a 10-minute drive away. It is a relatively small resort, best suited for beginner and intermediate skiers, though it does offer some long runs and some opportunities for off-piste skiing.

Very charming historic hotel in a beautiful location with incredible views. We were upgraded to a spacious suite which was a delightful surprise and very much appreciated as we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Great spa facilities including ancient Roman baths and a wonderful outdoor infinity pool with panoramic views. Very comfortable bed, very clean and has a real sense of history. Good breakfast.

Shower not great - mounted too low for my husbands to get under. Restaurant food was average and seemed reheated rather than freshly cooked to order. The hotel access was blocked off due to a bike race and while we understand it was outside the hotel’s control, the staff seemed very confused about whether the road was open, when it would open etc…. - they needed to be on top of this to keep guests informed.

Facilities with all the different water therapies was an absolute dream. So many different areas to explore and although, with people coming in on day passes, it was busy, we were still able to find areas of quiet and relaxation.

Music in the restaurant - awful. If it had been more like the music in the Relaxation Room then it would be fine, but it was bordering on jazz and, personally, we can't stand jazz !! It was also piped outside into the area where there were a few deckchairs for catching some sun rays, outside main Reception. Really not necessary to have music.

Beautiful hotel and SPA, extremely well maintained and in a charming location. Breakfast is exceptional, varied and very attentive to dietary restrictions. A complementary aperitivo is served everyday, with wine, olives focaccia and other really delicious foods. Really good massage too. Overall a lovely and relaxing weekend away with my mom!

Unfortunately, yet understandably, the spa is open to daily visitors which make it very busy and a little less relaxing and peaceful for hotel guests, especially as there is a constant flux at all hours of day. It would be a good idea to find a way to prioritise the hotel guests, perhaps with a reserved area. Would really really really not recommend to eat dinner at the hotel, should have read previous reviews before we did!

I love the location of this hotel! Thanks to this location, guests can enjoy the view over Bormio from the panoramic pool and the view over the wild mountains goats grazing near by hotel.

The location comes at a price, the road up there, for inexperienced drivers might put a bit of a difficulty.

Stunning location ,fabulous spa & very friendly staff ,very nice happy hour. The bath products were lovely & the massages were very good.

There was limited choices on the dinner menu & no bar to sit and relax & enjoy the fab views in the evening. Small point no body lotion in bathrooms.

We had a magical stay here. A beautiful view from our room, access to the numerous bathing options with such lovely attention to detail, and one of the best included breakfasts we've come across. We were sad to stay only one night and would definitely come back in the future.

Minor details, but we had to ask for the heating in our room to be turned on and there wasn't any soap in our bathroom.

Very peaceful, nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially in the Reception.

The only negative thing i could say is the entrance and the parking area. There are just 4-5 parking spaces for the hotel visitors and some spaces were taken by motorcycles. On the driveway there were a lot of cars parking at the side and the road is very narrow that you have to be careful and you have to drive forward and backwards so that you could pass through the cars.

The facilities are amazing. Very good experience with all the thermal water activities, sauna relaxation rooms and facial room. There is quite a lot to do and enjoy. The view is very good and it really feels like a luxury of experience.

The only downside for me was the food. The aperitivo and dinner left much to be desired. Dinner. Was done very fast which indicated the meal was just heated up. The texture of the pork indicated it was overdone and it lacked taste. The rissotto tasted purely of rice.

Everything! The check-in was smooth, the room was comfortable and well-designed, with a great view. The spa was excellent, and the scenery made it even better. I also liked the aperitivo and the breakfast – great selection and really tasty
