Location and the fact it had secure parking for motorcycle. Young men on reception were polite when we arrived. The waiting staff at the restaurant were excellent. The lovely barman, Jamon was the most professional bartender…made my G&T with great passion and flourish and when we ordered the wine for our meal in the evening..it was like a theatrical performance..very impressive.

We stayed in 2023..and we were excited to stay again as we loved the hotel. We felt the meal was a little mediocre..being British we said it was lovely of course..but more flavour could have been added to the dishes. The room was looking a little tired..I feel that standards have to be maintained and am concerned that these are slipping slightly. The TV needs updating to a smart tv ..as at the end of a busy day it’s nice to chill with a film!

Breakfast, room and location was perfect. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would stay at the Cristallo Hotel again

I did mention that the Cristallo would have an advantage possibly over other Hotels if they could provide a shuttle service to and from Malpensa Airport. Given Bormio is very much out of the way in the centre of the Alps and given the fact that the railway networks were undergoing maintenance during the summer months in the area.

All room fittings and furnishings to a very high standard. The natural wood used for door and furniture in keeping with the Alpine area. Wood panelling in the bar and restaurant was fantastic. Excellent selection of food for breakfast Views from the front of hotel rooms look onto a hillside which is a ski run in winter

Restaurant wasn’t open in the evenings I was there although this didn’t cause a problem as there are plenty to choose from in the town centre which is only a 5 minute walk away

I really liked the property it was cozy and clean with great view ! Staff was very friendly and helpful! They explained all the single details to me about the place , massage was excellent! Breakfast was tasty! And of course location is great !

The only small things I did not like as the property is 4 star rated hotel , it would be great to have more toiletries (like shampoo was not there , toothpaste I requested along with the brash ) same for the mini bar (only water was inside ) /

Spacious room for 3 to sleep in it. We could see the mountains from our rooftop room. There is an old type with an electric oven, but we didn't use it. The bed was firm, but we slept comfortably. Breakfast was great! The hotel had a spa, but we didn't use it. It was not included in our hotel price. To include it, it was €15 extra per person. They gave us a small packet of complimentary biscuits before leaving as a thank you for our stay

This hotel is not good for animal activists like us. They have real preserved animals on display all over the hotel. No water provided in the rooms, and when we requested water, they asked us to buy from the vending machine. Surely, this is not a 4-star service. I am not impressed with the quality of the room, and it needs some renovation. No coffee/tea in the room or a handy coffee machine.

There is a double standard between customers who have reserved their rooms through booking and those who have reserved them through the reception which is not pleasant. The price of the spa area is 5 euros, but if you have reserved the room through booking it is 15 euros!

A very friendly hotel with the bonus of safe, underground parking and it was also fine to keep my bike in the bedroom. Has a very family-run feel.

Breakfast was really extensive but the coffee was really not good. I went out for coffee after the first day.

Loved the location and the lounge area. Bleach used in the bathroom was overwhelming, could have done with some comforts such as a kettle and the bed was very firm. Didn't appreciate that we had to pay for the wellness centre purely because we booked through this app.

There was a fridge, a big comfortable bed and a balcony. There was free parking available, breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon and small bits of sausages, which was nice.

There were no AC, the sewer in the shower was logged and even though the hotel staff promised to fix it, they did not fix it. Due to this, it was extremely uncomfortable to use the shower.

location was brilliant ..short walk to the centre..the staff were very friendly and attentive…we had a meal on our second night which was delicious. The bar was great also with a friendly bartender from Argentina. The room was lovely..nice little boxes in the bathroom with essentials. Parking for the motorcycle was free and secure. The smell of the hotel was really nice..like a spa. The staff went above and beyond when they retrieved my husbands t shirts and underpants which he had washed and put on balcony..but a gust of wind took them away when we were out 🤣🤣🤣Thank you for that ..saved a shopping trip!!
