Very well located for skiing but note that it is not ideal if you are a beginner as the ciela alto chairlift (which goes from directly under the apartments) and the slopes coming back down and connecting to main slopes are not ideal for beginners as they are quite steep. For seasoned riders it is perfect. For beginners you ski down from the hotel ca 300-400m and have to walk about 2-3 minutes to the plan maison lifts. And to come back (as a beginner) you need to take the ski bus from Breuil cervina terminus. For intermediate riders and above you can connect via the nr13 slope which brings you back to the apartments direct Ski rental and ski school are in the building.

I travelled with my 20 year old daughter for long weekend skiing, accommodation was very good, very clean and good value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Location to slopes excellent (about 50 metres across road, location would not suit beginner skiers as a Red slope). Base Camp restaurant across road by start of slope, lovely food, we ate there 3 of our 4 night stay. Would highly recommend for accommodation/skiing. Will hopefully be back to stay again! Valle Ski Hire by restaurant very good also

Had a great stay. We were greeted by our host who shared a lot of great tips and insights for us to make the most of our visit. Really appreciated this approach. The building itself is a little run down, but the rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and were very clean. The location was great for us but may not be for everyone. There was a lung busting climb up from town after dinner every night. Ski area is the most spectacular I have ever visited but susceptible to closures due to high winds whipping around the Matterhorn. Was useful to have a hire car so we could be flexible on ski area when the lifts closed one day.

The room was clean and spacious. The view was absolutely amazing. The receptionist was an absolute darling, she was very welcoming and helped us with lots of recommendations. We enjoyed the ski in and out of the hotel and the proximity of the town center. We stayed for 8 nights, we manage to ski 6 days (one day was lost due to the weather). I am a beginner/ intermediate with this being my 3rd season skiing and the ski in and out was ok. After the first few runs I could confidently go in and out on my own.

Staff was amazing helpful responsive via WhatsApp and very informative even though it wasn’t a full time reception. Great location great view accessible to the slopes and the town . Nice value for a last minute find and able to book a stay of duration <1 week. Clean !

WiFi didn’t seem to work that great.

First and foremost the staff!!, they were amazing! Thanks Maria and Eittore; views and the apartment were great. Beds are comfy. Location was perfect but keep in mind that you need some level of ski to ski in or out, and although not indispensable, a car comes handy to go to the village. (2 min drive)

The building is outdated, but apartments are modern and they have all that you may need

Not only was the location convenient for us as it had easy access to the ski pistes, it was also extremely neat and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we could always count on them to help us out. Besides these perks, the view from our rooms was breathtaking; we were greeted with gorgeous snow-capped mountains in the mornings.

Nothing noticed

No one was at the desk when we arrived so we couldn't check in. We arrived early enough to have skied had someone been there. It's a good hike up the hill. There is a bus but it's not always reliable. If you need to replace your bath towel it's 5€ which is ridiculous... It can be noisy at night if there are partiers in your section.

Very warm welcome. Extremely nice view of Matterhorn/panorama from the apartment. Well furnished clean apartment. Close to hiking routes.

The lobby and common areas are a bit outdated but that does not affect the apartment. We would have preferred a tea towel.

the BASE CAMP APARTMENTS was better than we could have imagined. the reception lady Tonia was very professional. her English is perfect. she explained everything very clear. the room was huge. after you enter the room you have a seperate kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigirator, cutlery, different bins to recycle. the room had many coupboards , 2 single beds which had fresh linen on them and 3 kinds of pillows, a tv with many programs including the option to English films, big sofa with a table, 2 small sofas and big space to move arround. the bathroom was big as well with a hair dryer, a large shower, toiled papers and towels (2 big one, 2 small one, 1 for the floor), the balcony had great view of the mountains and town and was big as well. i used the private car parking service which turned out to be a good choice.
