It is furnished with great taste and care, really nice, using local art and style. It's great to have a kitchen to your disposition, with all necessary stuff in it. Giuseppe put things for breakfast in the fridge and on the room, that was nice too. Just a tip: If You hired a car as I did: it is very hard to find a parking space - and make sure you send yourself the location of your car, somewhere in the maze of little lanes - otherwise you might not find it again...

For me it was a slight disappointment, that this room doesn't have any windows. I know this is often the case in old Italian houses in the south, and probably fine in summer, when there is light and heat outside, I am sure it will keep it nice and cool, only in winter I missed direct light. But, on holiday you don't usually spend more than the night in your room, so it is ok.

I stayed upstairs in accommodation with a kitchen/living room, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was the best for equipment I’ve had in two months. It was also generously stocked with oil, vinegar, coffee etc. I liked the balconies and that I could let cooler morning air in and that there were fly screens. I wouldn’t have slept without the ceiling fan in the bedroom. It was in an excellent location.

As a non smoker I found lighting the stove with a cigarette lighter very difficult. A proper gas lighter would be much better. I knew that there wasn’t air conditioning and made good use of the two ceiling fans but air con would have been more comfortable.

It was very clean, homely and well stocked with everything we needed for a stay for a few days. The owner Guisepi was very helpful and always on the end of the phone if needed. The fans were definitely needed during the night. Air con would be a great upgrade. We stayed in apartment 2 for the first few nights but then moved to the upstairs apartment 1 which was a little bigger with 2 balconies which were very nice for more air into the room.

The bed was quite hard in apartment 2. We arrived when the G7 meeting was on and found that almost everything was closed. It would have been good if we’d known and we could have asked Guisepi to get us some groceries, as one evening we had to eat the breakfast.

Easy walk to most of the sights. Was very eclectic and definitely more of a vibe of ‘how people here live’ than a hotel- which was great! Good communication and welcome from Host. Good cooking supplies and stove. Good free parking nearby.

The towels, bedding, couch covers etc were ‘tired’ and worn- need updating/refreshing. Not super clean on arrival. Breakfast was provided- but all long-life in plastic- felt like a fresh roll from lovely bakery 20m up lane may have been a nicer touch. But generous amount food supplied.

Great value for the location in center of town. Very walkable to restaurants and sites. We had two apartments with adjoining kitchen for our family of five, which was perfect. The mapped out city walking tour was great and can be done in a day. The host is great and checked in regularly.

Parking was tough, which I had anticipated ahead of time. We arrived on Friday night later in evening. We drove around for 40 minutes and could not find parking close by. We ended up finding a free lot (Parcheggio gratuito) on the edge of town. It’s a 15 minute walk to the B&B. We didn’t mind at all. If you plan to stay here and don’t want to leave Brindisi, it’s not necessary to have a car. If you want a car to explore other towns in Puglia like we did, just go to Parcheggio gratuito and save yourself the time and stress driving around trying to find closer parking.

Giuseppe the owner was communicative from the beginning. He made us feel very welcome. Storing our luggage when we arrived early and storing it for us the day we left. He gave us the name of a trustworthy taxi driver to get us to the airport. He answered all our issues and tried to solve some issues for us. He was great. There was yogurt water and milk in the fridge and some breakfast rolls in a container.

Very easy to find, very good located, quiet area, not far from the bus stop and railway station. The owner was helpful and answering all my questions, also tried to give us apartment earlier:) Hovewer we didn't meet him personaly, as some of the feedbacks said. Our apartment in general was clean, in kitchen you have everything you need for cooking- olive oil, sugar, salt, tea, coffee. For breakfast there were some yogurts, juice, cookies, croissants and jam. I think we would come back!

the previous guests left some cutlery and plates dirty, that's not on the owner, but could have been checked. Already told the owner about it, and hope that will be improved to make the stay of the others even better:)

We spent four nights in Giuseppe’s apartment in Brindisi and had a wonderful time. The place was clean, sunny, and had an authentic feel that made us feel right at home. Giuseppe was a truly kind and attentive host. The location is perfect — very close to the city center, yet peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Everything was pre arranged also well arranged too. Plenty of food items to eat all the time. Very convenient location almost everything by walking. We got parking as well very near just 100meters away its free on sunday. Bed are comfortable and big. Host is available every moment on whatsapp so easy to communicate.

Just the bathroom shower area is way small. There is no window for proper ventilation , there is small one above that open 20% but actually you can manage as room is quite good with temperature

Excellent location in a quiet little street, within comfortable walking distance of the train station, the main shopping avenue, the waterfront and historic sites. My room was cosy, with a big comfortable bed and good lighting, the bathroom was excellent, with good lighting and strong water pressure in the shower. There's a full-size fridge and stove in the kitchen (shared with another room). Typical Italian breakfast provided in packages in the room (soft buns with jam and other stuff). Full bottle of water provided. Good reliable wifi in the room. Also provided: a map of Brindisi with tourist info and list of restaurants giving a discount (though none were open when I checked - maybe they open later in the evening).

The main problem was the lack of an electric kettle, so I had to heat water on the stove (to make hot tea in the morning and evening). But there was only a cigarette lighter to light the gas - it was a hard-to-use lighter requiring both thumbs, I strongly suggest an electric kettle or a gas stove lighter (either can be bought cheaply). Other minuses: no window in the room although the Booking.com info said "city view", so-so breakfast. I suggest fresh Puglian bread (which was there my third and last morning), plus ham (or other cold meat), cheese, butter, which can be kept in the fridge, along with some fresh fruit.
