Good value for the central location to explore Brindisi, just a short stroll to the Port. Lovely welcoming and helpful staff. All the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The room was spacious (we had a suite, though) and very clean. Comfortable bed and a quiet and restful sleep. Nice buffet breakfast (apart from the coffee).

Breakfast was in a dreary, windowless room with overly bright lights, so it felt like being at a conference rather than on a holiday (to the point that we skipped breakfast on day 3). In fact, the decor all over the hotel is very oppressive. Everything is dark, brown and felt old fashioned. Disappointed with the 'suite with balcony'. It definitely wasn't worth the extra. Despite the ample size, again, it was dark, gloomy and the balcony that had a 'city view' just overlooked buildings and was not appealing. Even if you did sit out, the balcony wall was too high to see any view at all and was next to the stairwell. The bar never seemed to be open.

The hotel is nicely located on the main street, centrally with 5 min walk to the waterfront or numerous shops around. Giulia at the Reception welcomed with a kind smile and excellent care about all our needs. Lobby and the breakfast hall sparkle in historical beauty. Stress-free atmosphere with relaxing music and refreshing soft drink for welcome. Breakfast selection with local and international cuisine and very attentive service by the gentlemen in the best years. Room was spacious and sleep good.

It was not easy to find the English-speaking channel on the TV.

Very comfortable hotel with helpful friendly staff. Well located for all the sights in the old part of town and especially good is that it has secure parking on site (which you have to pay for, but it’s well worth it). Truly excellent breakfast - you can ask for cappuccinos rather than the coffee in thermos jugs with no problem. We asked for a later check out and again not a problem. I hadn’t visited Brindisi before and was delightedto find how attractive it is. Wish we’d planned to stay a second night. One tip - we had a delicious dinner at La Locanda del Porto in Via Montenegro about ten minutes walk away.

Wifi was a bit patchy.

Beautiful hotel with a soul. Amazing staff throughout, has everything you need and if you stay longer the closest food store is just next door which we did not realise until our last evening and we were leaving next day. Room was facing back but it was best thing ever as it had no street noise and you could have your window open with no car smells or noises. Spacious enough room, TV, kettle, small fridge, big bathroom, good size shower. Overall definitely would stay again and recommend for value, location and relaxed feel.

Nothing at all :)

I have coeliac disease, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone with the same condition or even a gluten intolerance. When booking a trip to Italy, look no further. They provided a great range of gluten-free option for breakfast, complete with gluten-free croissants, pain au chocolate. The service at the hotel was amazing. During our bike trip across Italy, we stayed at several hotels, but none could match the charm and personal attention at the Hotel Orientale. From the front desk to the wait staff, everyone made us feel incredibly welcome, and they had a very secure place to store our bikes overnight om a locked room in the basement underground car park. It wouldn't have been the same if we had stayed anywhere else.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Room very comfortable and well-equipped. The breakfast selection on offer was plentiful and excellent. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Orientale - thank you!

A couple of relatively minor issues - the replenishment of toilet tissue was a bit haphazard at times during our 4 night stay! The parking was fine, provided you are comfortable with manoeuvring up and down and around - it could be a bit of a tight squeeze, as you make your way to and from your allocated space. The set-up worked fine for us, but I'm not sure everyone would feel the same way. (Having said that, once you're in, the parking feels 100% secure....)

Excellent location in central Brindisi, on main shopping street, couple of minutes from the harbour. Very clean, good size suite (room 803) with separate lounge and very large balcony overlooking the city. Excellent choice for breakfast - cakes highly recommended!- and very helpful and professional waiting staff. Underground parking available at 10 euros/day. Great place to stay if you're flying late into/early from Brindisi and prefer to be near the airport.

The bed was not extra large as I think may be stated on this website. Didn't matter as there was a good single sofa bed in the lounge- took the reception staff a bit too long to find some sheets etc.

We only stayed one night as we were catching an early flight home. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and helpful. The hotel was like stepping into a calming oasis from the blistering heat outside and it smelt wonderful. The rooms are simple but with everything you need. The hotel is a two minute walk to the port and on a main shopping street. It is the little touches that count and in the morning, at 3.30am, we were delighted to see a small area where coffee, pastries, breakfast cereals and juice was set up for those early travellers. Well done to you all, you can tell you care!

Nothing.

Very comfortable property very nice stay. Don’t count on a smooth transfer from the port to the hotel. Taxis are unreliable scarce and transportation is horrible in Brindisi and in many other areas of Italy since there is no Uber or other third-party transportation services. The Taxi system is broken and failed. Enjoy walking.

Nothing, great place and they even provide bicycles, which is absolutely essential since you can’t get transportation otherwise

I loved staying at Hotel Orientale. The staff was externally helpful, they helped to book trip in nearby cities with local agency, helped arrange taxi and overall were creating such warm and hospitable atmosphere, I felt home away from home. The location was excellent, close to the sea but also to central cathedral, shops, supermarket. Restaurants. The room was nice size with all comfortable facilities. I enjoyed this hotel a lot.

Cant complain.
