+ A very friendly welcome from the owners (who speak Italian) with recommendations on where to go for good food. + Great location in the heart of the old city centre; ideal for exploring Cagliari. + AC was working efficiently enough to sustain the heat of June. Almost no noise (room 20).

- The shower is a bit small, and the shower head is hard to operate to avoid flooding the bathroom. - A hollow has already formed in the mattress due to previous guests. That did not necessarily help my back pain. - The breakfast is typically Italian (coffee and croissant/cornetto that is it) in a bar close by. I did not like the mood of the bar. There are better places in proximity.

The first welcome by Mr.Luca was super nice and friendly, and the antique aspect of the place is wonderful. My room was super quiet at night, something I appreciated a lot. Mr Luca shared his favorite places and recommendations, which was very helpful and insightful to get input from locals as a first thing. I think it's super nice and vital. I highly recommend the stay for anyone looking for a central location with many options around.

At night, the room was a bit chilly because there was no heater, but the rooms have A.C I didn't need it though. It was nice and cool during the day. The bed was a single bed, so it was a bit small. I could have asked for a room change, but I managed; that's on me. However, you can always ask, and Mr Luca is responsive.

Lovely sized bedroom with period furniture and attractive floor, bathroom with everything I needed, all beautifully clean. The balcony overlooked the Marina.and the room was kept lovely and cool by the air con. Very comfortable room and very quiet. The hotel is nice and central near restaurants, the old town and bus routes. I was welcomed by my hosts who were very pleasant and helpful, I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed my stay. Would book this hotel again.

I had two single beds in the room and I found the bed slightly narrow.

Family run hotel. Had a room overlooking the marina, which would recommend. Ideally located for sightseeing, shops and restaurants. Very friendly, they even gave my husband a bottle of Cava for his birthday. Yes a bit oldie worldly, but rather stay in a traditional Italian hotel than a modern white box.

Nothing really. Yes the lift is quite small and the decor old fashioned, but this only added to the enjoyment of the holiday. Why stay in a modern sole less hotel that could be anywhere.

First of all, the location is great! It is a very well-maintained hotel, but an old one. I've never stayed in such a beautiful hotel with a lot of character. It's small, peaceful and very clean. The owners are very nice as well. As a solo traveller, I had a shared bathroom, but it wasn't a problem.

A small fridge would be an extra bonus, but not actually needed for a stay in the city.

Location of the hotel is absolutely amazing! Very close to basically everything (train station, bus station, restaurants; highly recommend pizza place downstairs, city landmarks etc). Super friendly staff ! unfortunately I couldn’t communicate well with Lady who check me in as I don’t speak Italian, but the other staff member was super caring, helpful, friendly and accommodating. He gave me great recommendations and even show me on the map the best places to take photos! I don’t know why people complaining on Wifi. It worked absolutely perfect. I managed to have video calls, answers email and do bit of work. My room was immaculate! Didn’t find any dust or dirt. It is not a luxurious place, but I felt so happy there. I would be happy to stay there again! AC worked well and wasn’t too noisy.

Excellent location near restaurants, bars, marina and other must see attractions. Hotel staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had large room with balcony, fully air-conditioned and very clean. Good value for money. 10/10 😀

I enjoyed staying in this traditionally furnished hotel. My room, and the bathroom, were spotlessly clean & comfortable. The owners, mother & son, are both charming. Neither of them speak English but the son & I communicated well through Google translate. He was friendly & helpful giving lots of suggestions in Cagliari. The hotel is on the main road of the marina & near the bus & train stations.

I really liked the location which was very close to everything with great access to the public transport and train to the airport. The accomodation itself was extremely clean and tidy. The communication was only in Italian, but we managed with positive attitude ;) Breakfast was nice and simple.

My room had the window above the restaurant kitchen which made it impossible to open during the evening/early night because of the smell. It is a very old house so you can hear everything from your neighbours.

It’s in an excellent position. It’s an old style pensione, nice old features and feel, super helpful and friendly family vibe. I felt welcome, comfortable and safe.

I should have got a room at the front where the views looked amazing
