La Marina is a very nice place to stay in the city center of Cagliari. Serena is a very good and friendly host, who communicates with you and makes your stay a pleasant experience. Breakfasts served every morning give you the taste of a typical Italian morning. From the B&B it takes a few steps to reach the historic city center, bus stops to Poetto and the train station of Cagliari are also very close. We stayed 10 nights and fully recommend the place.

It's not the fault of the hotel but the city systems, but you have to take in consideration that the toilet paper goes to the trash bin here. Other than that we didn't see many disadvantages, maybe it would be nice to also have a trash bin in the room too.

Location is in the center, room was clean, nice breakfast. Serena is a nice host. We had a car and unfortunately got a ticket for parking on the street , where the apartment is located. Serena helped us to solve it. Thanks Serena

If you have a rental car, could be very tricky to find a parking place. I can suggest a parking house Parcheggio REGINA ELENA for 10Euro per day 800m from La Marina or parking close to Santuario di Nostra Signora di Bonaria for free 1.5km from La Marina.

The breakfast was excellent. Serena was very kind and accommodating. The room was a perfect size, and we could not have asked for a better location (close to the train station, food and shops, and bus stops).

The wifi was not reliable.

Serena is amazing, the most friendly host ever. I highly recommend this place!

I don't have any negative experience.

First of all, the bed was super comfy! The room was large enough and very clean. Although the place is situated in the center, the windows had shutters and they did the job, it was really quiet inside! The breakfast was super delicious and you can choose the time for it. There were different options with very nice pastries. Late-hour check-in was also possible and the owner/staff was super helpful. Also, the place is very easy to reach from the train station (and thus by the airport).

B&B sign was a little bit small and there was a different (probably old) sign which was a bit confusing. But nothing worth mentioning in general!

great location, lovely room, INCREDIBLE gluten free breakfast (Serena’s mother is a coeliac so I felt very safe eating what she prepared for us), Serena let us leave our bags in the hallway after we checked out. Serena is super friendly and warm and very helpful

up a very steep flight of stairs so a bit difficult with luggage!

Friendly reception. Very good location, with lots of good restaurants and things to see. Good value for money. Clean bedroom and bathroom.

Great location in Marina district, walking distance to most sights in central Cagliari, waterfront and also the train station for the airport train. Large comfortable bathroom. Good breakfast - a bit more than the usual Italian standard (but do not expext eggs and bacon :) ). We had a very early start the last day to catch a flight, earlier than the regular breakfast hours, but our host kindly left us most breakfast stuff on the table the night before, so we did not need to start hungry.

The room was a bit basic and lacked a place to sit with a laptop. Perfectly enough as a nice place to sleep but a bit insufficient if you need to include some work during your travel.
