Very nice and stylish hotel. Location is great for Cagliari exploring. We really liked the facilities of the hotel and our room. Soooo comfy and nice furniture. Comfy bed and lining. Breakfast was served in a beautiful setting.

Parking is not available but this is probably problem in whole Cagliari. We were a little confused about breakfast. Firt day the menu was given to us and we can choose - eggs, omelete, ... The second day we did not get menu and we choose only what was prepared on table - mainly sweets. We were not hungry so we did not ask - just info for you.

we really liked breakfast and the size of the room and the bathroom. The location was very convenient as well, and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The mattress of the sofa bed was really uncomfortable, making it almost impossible for someone to sleep in. The mattress was very hard. it would be a good idea to change the sofa mattresses.

We had a wonderful stay at Rate Birkin Porto 1870! The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to everything we wanted to explore. The hotel itself was very clean, and the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive, with a special thanks to Marco for making our stay even more enjoyable! The breakfast was exceptional, offering both savory and sweet options—something rare to find in Sardinia. The savory choices were a highlight for us, and the coffee served was fantastic! We highly recommend this boutique hotel for anyone visiting the area.

I have loved staying here at Mari’s apartment . It is quite and well furnished. Everything is as in pictures. There is everything needed. Really there can't be a better place if you need an escape from the crowded and noisy cities. It is right 30 metres from the sea and there is either a free huge beach or a LIDO to get umbrella or chairs . It is located 50 metres from the village centre. Here you find supermarket, tobacconist, bars , pizzeria , restaurants to taste local cuisine ( arancini and granita ice creams are the best. are already a few minutes away from Milazzo Port to get ferries to aeolian Islands . I highly recommend it . It was a great stay! Thanks Mari

The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff are extremely nice and welcoming. Very good breakfast and very good location walking distance from all the main attraction and the train station.

I recently stayed at Birkin Porto and overall had a pleasant experience. The room, albeit a bit small for three people, was comfortable enough for our short stay. The highlight was definitely the beautiful and delicious breakfast spread offered each morning. Additionally, I must extend a special thank you to the hotel staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They not only recommended great places to visit in the evenings but also assisted me greatly with handling all my pre-ordered shipments, ensuring they arrived safely. A particular shoutout to Marco, whose kindness and friendliness made our stay even more memorable."

Nice hotel near the old town. Room was nice, updated bathroom, different colour scheme in each of the rooms. Good breakfast, nice staff. Little bit hard to find the first time but not really a problem.

Bathroom needs better lighting and some more towel bars or hooks.

Location, breakfast, coffee, personnel everything was perfect! We had the first room next to the breakfast room, so we had a tiny view of the marina too (room 101). The windows were very soundproof to outside noise. You can walk anywhere from the hotel, including the train station (5 mins). The breakfast room was gorgeous!

The only minus was that the duvet didn't have a proper cover but was in between two sheets which was leaving the duvet exposed while sleeping and it looked a bit dirty.

Excellent location near train station, sea front, restaurants, shops, main square and historic centre. Also, near Christmas market of Cagilari. Very clean. Exceptional breakfast. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Kept out luggage before check-in time and after check-out. Reception open from 7am till 11pm. Otherwise staff was available via telephone communication. Nice view from breakfast room. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Possibly an extra chair or stool to provide more space in room where to place luggage and personal belongings.

The bathroom smelt quite bad, I think the drains need cleaning, and the rooms are not soundproof as advertised. We were only offered one free bottle of water and another in the fridge we'd have to pay for. The water was not replenished at all while we stayed and there was nowhere to fill up water bottles in the lobby or anything.
