I was extremely satisfied with everything this B&B has to offer. It can even be compared to 4 star hotels. The touch of a woman can clearly be seen. 1. There is a nice smell. 2. There is a Delonghi coffee machine 3. Check out contactless 4. Mini fridge in the room with a juice, water and milk filled up every day - a basket of sweets 5. A/C that you can control normally 6. There is a light bulb in front of the mirror !!! - as a woman who travels frequently- it’s extremely rare even in 5 star hotels 7.Cleanliness 10/10 8.Location 10/10

The only „issue“ - for me as a light sleeper- was that it can be quite loud at night due to nearby restaurants but nothing an earplug cannot solve.

Vela Rooms are placed next to everything you need on the short holidays in the city: 5 minutes from train, 3 minutes from bus, 1 minute form bars, restaurants and old town. The room looks exactly like on the pictures and was very clean and comfortable. Everythig work properly including aircondition. The room was quiet and we could sleep well at night. Communication with Vela Rooms personel is really great. They are kindly and help a lot whenever it is needed.

The only one thing was a little bit difficult for me as a claustrophobic person. The room was dark because the windows in the bathroom and in the room were almost blind, the view was on the wall so you didn't know if the sun rise. I didnt ask to change it for another with normal window only because we stay 3 nights and spent there time when we were sleeping. For a longer stay it would be the probelm for me for sure.

Common area was great. Coffee machine, leaflets and taxi phone number all there. Room was specious and air con was working. Great place for city break if you want to be in the middle of city life. Plenty of restaurants around. Amazing staff. Especially Ting whose advice we took on where to go for breakfast.

Loosing wifi signal. Having a break in the middle of the day was our time to google places we wanted to see. It was nearly impossible to.

Vela Rooms has a set of modern hotel type rooms on a private floor in a lovely old building in the Old Town of Cagliari. The rooms are a very good size and include a safe and fridge. The bathroom has recently been renovated and the shower was great. There is a keypad entry to the building and another to the floor where the rooms are so the rooms are very secure not that it felt unsafe or insecure. On arrival at Vela Rooms you enter a Room a little like a reception room where there are complimentary coffee and snacks available 24/7. In your room there are breakfast snacks available for you. I would recommend this accommodation - it is not 5 star but has all you need & more. Many restaurants right outside the door.

Pillows were very hard but we found this throughout Italy. No view.

The property had a great shared kitchen area with everything you needed including a coffee machine. The room was spotless and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and were on hand to answer any questions. Location was excellent, safe and secure building.

There was nothing not to like at this property.

Great location, nice common area with free coffee and water and rooms with everything you need. We were also welcomed very friendly when we checked in and were given some valuable tips for our stay in Cagliari. However, I won't forget my stay here for another reason. I left my wallet in the room and recognised it only hours later when Solana called me. We were already close to our next destination 2 hours away. But they were so helpful to send the wallet to one of my next accomodations in Sardegna by post. Thank you so much Solana and Gabi! This is really a great example of hospitability.

We did not stay in Vela Rooms but in accommodation a few minutes walk away. We were escorted by a charming lady when we arrived at Vela Rooms who was very apologetic.

It would have been nice to know in advance that they had relocated us but the room for one night was fine!

Ting was very friendly and helpful at check in. Her restaurant recommendation was superb. The location was perfect: near the centre, restaurants and train station, yet quiet due to the wooden shutters. Shared coffee machine was a nice touch.

Air con wasn't working (but fortunately it wasn't too hot at night). Kitchen needs a sink!

Locational

The refrigerator in the room didn’t work. I had to use the refrigerator in the dining where a couple stole my yogurt. The theft was no accident because they ate half and put the remainder back with the covering put back over.

All very good. Easy check in and out, friendly staff and great location in Cagliari. Coffee, tea and snacks available for all guests. Close to bars and restaurants. Overall good price/quality.

The bed was a little bit stiff, and the pillows a bit flat, but for short stays no issues.
