Coming from Boston, Massachusetts I was skeptical when booking this boutique I had not heard of in Capri. It was rated as a 3 star, however, having stayed at many 5 and now 6 star resorts, I can comfortably state that this resort is far more than any 3 star resort. Let me start off by saying the staff were phenomenal; from start to finish- booking my trip until the day we left Capri- the staff made my family and I feel just like part of their family. They even helped with getting our luggage from the ferry to the villa. Safety is a concern for me when we travel- WE FELT SAFE. The rooms were impeccably clean and the air conditioning and television worked perfectly. The food they served was delicious. Such a beautiful boutique hotel with a great pool. Thank you Hotel Villa Sarah... you made my children's first trip to Capri amazing. We will see you again!

The Hotel Villa Sarah is a 4 star family run hotel of the highest standard in its class on Capri. It is well positioned to be quiet but also accessible. It is close to some restaurants and a super market. Questions before arrival, transfers and logistics are all dealt with promptly and politely. The rooms are clean comfortable and well equipped. The pool is a wonderful addition after walks and boating! The breakfast and snacks are of a good standard too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great hotel.

What an amazing place to stay in Capri. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The family that run this hotel are the loveliest people and make you feel so very welcome. I loved everything about this place - our room (just the garden room but plenty big enough for us when you have access to the wonderful grounds at this hotel), the pool area and the beautiful breakfast. We loved coming back after a morning exploring and spending the afternoon around the most relaxing pool area. The whole area is so well cared for and beautiful. The breakfast was also a stand out. So much selection and beautiful muesli, yoghurt, coffee and juices (plus so much more). I loved that we ate breakfast around the pool area. I really hope to come back to this place someday. Just special - thanks for a wonderful stay.

Nothing - they make everything perfect!

Villa Sarah is a truly beautiful and charming hotel nestled in one of the quietest parts of Capri, just a 9-minute walk from the main square (Piazzetta). Surrounded by lush gardens, this lovely villa offers a peaceful retreat away from the crowds, yet still close to everything. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The entire property is impeccably maintained, with tasteful decor and a serene atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to assist – their hospitality truly makes you feel at home. The garden is simply stunning, full of flowers and lemon trees, with a beautiful pool area where you can relax in both sun and shade. Breakfast is fresh, varied, and includes produce from their own garden – a real delight. One of the most thoughtful services is the luggage transport to and from the marina. I highly recommend using it, especially during peak season, as the walk from the port to the center can be tiring with heavy bags. This service makes your arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Sarah – whether you’re visiting Capri in the busy summer months or during the quieter season. It’s a peaceful, elegant, and comfortable place to stay – a true gem on the island.

The property was gorgeous, with fruit trees countless plants and a pool! It had everything we needed and felt like the italian villa we had imagined. The staff was incredible. We had various unexpected obstacles come up (changed flights, delayed/cancelled ferries, etc) and the staff supported and assisted us through it all. They supported us in finding local things to do, making restaurants reservations and more. It felt as though we were invited to join the family for a week. We will only ever stay here when in Capri!!!!

Nothing—we loved everything!

The swimming pool is very nice. The staff are very friendly. There is a supermarket close to the hotel. There is also a nice restaurant near it.

The shower water was not hot enough (I turned the temperature to the highest, but the water was still not hot enough after three minutes); the electric system seems outdated (the power in my room went off twice when I plugged in the charger for my computer). The room smells a bit dusty. It would be better if there were more choices of pastries at the breakfast.

Comfortable studio-sized apartment w/kitchenette and private bath w/daily cleaning service. Very automated. corner room with big windows on two sides, automatic shutters fully darken room, Unrestricted 180 degree view of the Gulf of Naples, 10 minute walk to restaurants, grocery, atm, laundry for the able-bodied (big vertical climb). Good Internet.

The narrow path is just big enough for small cars. Some taxis refused to go all the way, so there is still a 170m/550ft walk. So, if you have any difficulty with steps or walking, this is the only downside. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place.

This hotel was a little hidden gem of a place. After walking our luggage up the cobblestone pathways, even though that was challenging, as soon as we got to the villa Sarah gate we knew we were somewhere special. Surrounded by lemon trees and flowers, it's off the main drag so it's quiet and you can hear the birds, it's truly a little paradise. The lady at the front desk was so kind and thoughtful, we felt so welcome everyday we were there. We originally were only supposed to stay for 1 night, we had plans to go to Positano, but after we went to Ravello, we missed Capri and Villa Sarah so much we decided to come back and spend the rest of our trip there. It felt like stepping back into nostalgic Capri vibes, the rooms were simple but nice, nice toiletries, fluffy clean towels and the breakfast every morning was delicious also! Also the lady who does thr breakfast made us the most delicious cappuccinos every morning! It just felt like love went into this place, it was special. The only thing I'd say is that the beds could have been more comfortable, but we loved everything else so much we just accepted this :) Also, the absolute BEST Meals I've ever had in my life, let alone Italy, were at Lo Sfizo just 5 min walk away. This place made our whole trip.

The staff at this small boutique hotel in Capri are wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and location away from the crowds. There are a few restaurants nearby, which saved us from walking up and down the hill again in the evening for dinner. The property is clean and well-kept with beautiful gardens with historical character and charm. The included breakfast was delicious and appreciated to get us started for a long day of sightseeing and shopping.

I struggle to say anything negative because the staff is so wonderful, but the beds are extremely hard. It was the hardest mattress we have slept on in our lives. we even looked under the bed and sheets to try to see what was wrong. In addition, although there are no steps between Capri town and the property, it is a considerably steep incline that you have to walk to reach the gate to the hotel. We are out of shape and over 50, and it was tough, but the hotel is lovely.
