Great hotel, awesome location, on Via Caramelle - close to center. Very nice breakfast included and great customer service. Beautiful lobby & grounds!

Room just average size.

The location is just amazing, very central. Garden view from the room is beautiful and no worse than a sea view. Big swimming pool. Very cute lemon garden for lunch. Clean facilities. Helpful and responsive reception staff.

The rooms needed renovation. I think like many other places in Capri. The water pressure in the shower was weak. There was no coffee maker or kettle in the room. The staff could smile sometimes, they looked unfriendly, as if they were suffering from their job. I felt awkward asking for anything.

Everything about this hotel was beautiful.

The noise at the pool and in the breakfast area from another family staying at the hotel was unbearable. The parents were selfish and did nothing to stop their children from impacting the experience for other guests. They were clearly on holiday from parenting. There were severall other guests that also told us the behaviour was too much. Running around the breakfast room with meat in their hands. Really? We understand this isn’t the fault of staff, however please manage the situation for the sake of your other guests. It’s not cheap to stay here. Perhaps some music at the pool would help. We have no complaints about the property itself.

The hotel is beyond stunning and the photos don’t do it justice. The waiting staff and in particular Kalinda who works around the pool were outstanding! We will be back!

Unfortunately the reception staff were uninterested and unhelpful. At one point we asked them to look for a private boat for the day…. This surely would have earned them some commission due to the price but they never came back to us. Also when booking a taxi to get to the hotel we were told it would be €60 which we paid in cash on arrival. On departure there was an additional €40 charge for bags, we are unsure if this was simply them delivering them to the room.

Location was amazing. Staff was very helpful and very kind. They made reservations for us for restaurants and boat tour. Would stay here again and recommend to everyone.

The location of the property is excellent in the heart of Capri . The breakfast and lunch service was good . No dinner but that was ok as we ate out . Swimming pool was lovely . Was cool - it was ok as we had sunny weather 22 degrees. Any cooler and it would have probably been too cold .

We really enjoyed our stay . We couldn’t turn the air con off in the bedroom and it was a little noisy at night but that was our only issue .

The entire staff was so professional. It was later in the evening on our first night there and my sister wanted coffee so she went downstairs to see if she could get a cup of coffee. She came back with a staff member bringing us a tray with a pot of hot coffee and cups and sugar. That was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed having breakfast outside and enjoyed the view and people walking to work. It was just so peaceful there and truly relaxing. We wish we were around to experience having lunch. The room was bright and beautiful and clean, and coming back every day to a tidy room was even more relaxing. I will definitely come back to stay here. We also stayed in Roma and Milano but our favorite place to stay was Capri. Although I already live on an island (Hawaii), Capri is my home away from home. Can't wait to come back to Hotel Syrene.

The location was perfect for Capri. The staff was amazing. Went above and beyond to meet all our needs. The best front desk staff I’ve ever had. The pool was beautiful next to the lemon trees. Everything was perfect with 5 star service. The breakfast had a lot of options and sat on a pretty patio. Highly recommend!!

We LOVED the location of this hotel... very close to the restaurants and shops, but on a quieter street over-looking the sea in the distance!! We also loved the staff who were very welcoming and super helpful. The pool was stunning - huge mosaic pool! The breakfast was great with the restaurant over-looking the sea in in the distance. The hotel has an old-world charm about it! We loved it!!
