We were there for a week with my partner. If you do not want any luxury, this place is more than a great choice. 0-24 reception with nice and flexible colleagues, absolutely in the middle of the old town. If you would like to travel to other destinations with train, the Central station is 15 minutes by walk. (We do not demand breakfast, so we do not have any experience about it.)

Everything was fine. If I have to say only one thing, the wifi connection was not stable, but for a trip, it is not important for us.

We had a wonderful stay at La Collegiata Guest House. The location is perfect – right in the city center, close to the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to give advice about Catania. Great value for money, highly recommended!

Excellent location in centro storico. The staff was amazing giving us tips for restaurants. We want to thank especially Anna for her kindness and warm welcome. Our room was comfy and nice with air conditioning.

We were not aware that there was no elevator. There are stairs and stairs..this is a typical palazzo. We were carrying 3 big suitcases so this was something we didn’t like as we were not aware upfront. Anna was super nice and helpful. Despite the stairs, we would stay here again!

Perfect location. Bright and beautiful bedroom with a balcony overlooking via Etna, with a church in the background. Clean and good AC. Extremely polite and friendly service.

Only point that could be improved would be to have more hooks or something to let towels (or other stuff such as swimming suits etc.) dry. Price is relatively high compared to other options in Catania.

Definitely perfect location, polite and cooperative staff, always available to respond. Clean and unworn premises. The feeling of stay fits perfectly to the architecture and spirit of Catania old town. There are a lot of restaurants, patisseries, coffees and gelateria around.

It was a little cold in the room and bathroom, especially first day. It became wormer afterwords, but still it was not hot inside. Maybe the air conditioner is not powerful enough to heat those 4+ meters high premises. But even that, the stay was pleasant enough.

This is a great place to stay in Catania. All the staff are friendly and helpful and it’s in walking distance to restaurants, shops and sites. We loved exploring the streets and coming back here at the end of the day. The rooms are pretty with traditional furniture and decor. We loved it so much that we ended up staying another night here

Location of hotel is great. Staff is extremely helpful, they guided us well when it came to travelling around catania. Very clean hotel, would definitely recommend for a short stay

Be aware that not all rooms have the wonderful view advertised on the website. There's a flight of stairs to reach the entrance of the hotel, which may be inconvenient for people with a lot of luggage, since there is no elevator access.

Lots of stairs to get up to reception and rooms but Anna was there to help with your bags. Ideal location in the centre but trade off was noisy streets at night. Closing windows helped that. Beds were comfy but a heavy smell of perfumed linens was off putting. Airing out the room was effective.

The location was half block from the Main Street downtown, close to everything and still quiet at night for sleep. The room we had faced the street and was large, clean, comfortable and beautiful with high ceilings. Will definitely come back here on my next visit to Catania! The staff were super friendly and accommodating too!!

Wonderful location, close to everything, nearby restaurants, shops, markets and monuments. The room nr 1 was beautiful with a great view. The hotel owner is very nice and the staff is very polite and helpful. I asked for a room with a balcony overlooking the main street for my daughter and that's what I got. I am very grateful to the owner for making my daughter happy. Thank you. I definitely recommend this accommodation.
