The location is excellent. The staff responses super fast and the instruction is clear. The hot water is hot enough and water pressure is good. The room is clean.

The room is tiny. It only has the space for a bed , two night stands and a closet. The private bathroom is not attached to the bedroom. It is in the another end of hallway. I was confused while I was booking regarding private bathroom vs attached bathroom. Now I know the private bathroom is not attached. This B&B doesn’t offer cookware but only dinnerware. So without pots and other kitchenware, you can’t cook.

Upon our arrival in Catania, we faced a big problem with privious hotel and my initial booking was canceled because by mistake our room was booked for others. So, while left on the street, I searched for other options and came accross B&B Univerisa (lucky us!) Andrea responded instantly and in general, everything was booked in couple of minutes. We recieved very detailed information regarding check-in/out and all other rules. Location is ideal. Room is clean and nice, not noiseproof but it wasn't a big deal. Actually, we only slept there, all other time we were out exploring Sicily. As for breakfast, croissant with pistachio cream became my all time favorite 🫠 You don't need full breakfast in Sicily, there are so much to try and prices are very affordable. In a word, it was amazing trip for me and my friend. 🫰

In our bathroom there was a small problem with water drainage but it's managable.

Very nice large room, nice bathroom, very comfortable beds. We planned on staying one night but stayed 3 instead. We received a detailed video and pics for self-check-in, everything worked out well, and the host was available on the phone/WhatsUp anytime and solved any problem or questions we might have. The breakfast was at a nice closeby cafe, a croissant with a coffee/hot chocolate... I prefer cheese and ham for breakfast so the next two mornings we just picked up our croissants and beverages, brought them home, and made a bigger breakfast in the kitchen together with our food. There are dishes available, a tea set, and anything you might need. The location is great, very quiet, but so close to the center. Also a parking nearby where we always found a parking spot. Very satisfied. Would happily stay there again. Thank you!

I wasn't too excited about the breakfast, on the other hand, accommodation like that is often without any breakfast or just providing these funny packed crumpled croissants that last several years... so compared to that this was a fabulous fresh pastry and probably a great coffee (but I don't drink coffee, so we only ordered whipped milk and poured it into our black tea at the apartment).

First thing to note, is the super helpful host ! We were arriving quite late so I’ve asked for a self checking, and our host sent a very informative video with all the steps to get to the apartment . The building itself is very secured. It’s central, you can walk everywhere in catania . The bedroom had a good size and the bed was so comfortable ! It was cleaned every day. There’s also facilities to make coffee and tea, and a fridge to get water if needed (refilled every day) We had an amazing stay and we really appreciated our considerate host . The breakfast is in a nearby cafe and unlike lots of other reviewers, we really enjoyed it. Yes, it was just a pastry and a coffee but this is what they have in Italy - it’s funny the way british/American people always want things their way ! The pastries in this little shop were so tasty and so was the cappuccino . It’s a good partnership that they have ! All in all, I’ll definitely stay there again on my next trip to catania !

It was all good, apart maybe from the noise when the neighbours came back home, but it’s hard to say if they were really loud or if I bedroom was too close from the common area . No noise from the street whatsoever though, which was much appreciated

It was super central, very clean, the host was very helpful with anything. With instructions from host it was easy with self check in. It was great with high ceilings as room seems bigger. Great choice for that price. It was also helpful it was possible to arrange the airport transfer as it was written a number to call. It was very nice with the breakfast voucher arrangement at C&G.

That one need to have the key to use elevator, so when you leave the key, you need to walk down 3 floors with the heavy suitcase’s. airport transfer didn’t work out for me. But it is criticism towards the collaboration partner. we agreed to be picked up at 7 am and no one showed up at 7.15. And no one answered any of my calls or messages. It is irritating, and can be crucial if you have bad time to the flight.

The location was perfect, in the heart of Catania. The Owner was super friendly and helpful. Really kind man. The room was small but cozy and clean so I recommend this place totally. The bathroom was also clean and functional.

Actually I cannot complain on anything. Ok, maybe the only thing is that breakfast were only sweet. That would be nice to have some cheese or ham for the toasts. The rest was perfect! You will enjoy for sure so don’t hesitate ;)

Best possible location near the center of the city. Good restaurants near and access to many touristic attractions. Totally recommend it for short vacation. The host was very nice and informed us about everything we needed for self checking. He also wa available even late at night.

The breakfast was not very good and was really small. It was served in a gelateria near the B&B.

Great location of the hotel, 200m from the center of Catania. In addition, as for the breakfast included in the price, the owner cooperates with one of the local cafes located 2min walk from the hotel, you can have a typical delicious Italian sweet breakfast there. Of other pros, the room was cleaned daily.

Excellent location, air conditioning, wifi, friendly staff, mega helpful owner, super breakfast in a fantastic place next door, delicious coffee and typical Sicilian breakfast in a unique place. Market 3 minutes walk away and next to the market super restaurants with brilliant food - fresh seafood etc.

The fact that I had to go back because a week of my stay was gone too fast. I will definitely be back with the whole family.

Contact with the owner was very good. Clear indications for everything and helpful. We could do a very late at night check-in.

Breakfast was on a cafe nearby which was not friendly. They talked only Italian so we didn't understand what was included on the breakfast. Ended up having one croissant and a drink per person somehow. We were disappointed and a bit hungry still afterwards. Shower was very very tiny.
