The location was so great, just 5 minutes walk from piazza del duomo, in the heart of the old city in a very lively street, but when the windows were closed one could not hear anything, so it was calm at night. The suite is very cute, and Corrado and his brother Luigi were super nice, there is not always someone at the reception but they still were available whenever we needed them. My boyfriend’s luggage didn’t arrive with us in Catania for some reason so Corrado was so nice and called the airport for us because we don’t speak Italian and they arranged for the delivery of the bag to Cantù. They even received it for us as we were not in the suite. Corrado even contacted me before we arrived to arrange for our pickup at the airport, and he was always available on WhatsApp during our stay

We had a nice stay here. Check in and out worked nicely. The street itself is not the nicest in Catania but the location is great for sightseeing. The parking garage is 5 minutes away and the experience was smooth as well. The rooms get cleaned everyday, the interior in in good shape, and Luigi one of the hosts was always helpful.

We booked the room with external bath which in our case was because we thought that refers to the whirlpool bath. Unfortunately there is one room that really has the entire bathroom outside on the hallway. It was not the end of the world and they really try to highlight it so it was more a misunderstanding than anything else.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Cantu. Special thanks to Corrado for his hospitality, spontaneity, and helpfulness. He is very very friendly, clear, and responds quickly to any questions. We were very well taken care of from the airport transfers to arranging a room where we could relax for a few hours after check-out before our flight. The hotel is compact, clean, and peaceful, and it's within walking distance of the city center, terraces, and restaurants. We definitely recommend Hotel Cantu in Catania to our friends and to fellow Booking.com users! Compliments👍🏻

The room was well located in the city center, close to bus station. It was important for us to easily get to the bus for Siracusa or Taormina and to easily get to the airport (7 minutes of walking + 15 minutes with the bus). There was also a good restaurant right in the same building. The host was very nice and helpful. We liked so much the view from the room.

There was noise till midnight from cars and motocicles, but it is ok after that. If you are not an early sleeping, it is ok. We did not like the bathroom was not in the room, even if it was only used by us. It was not confortable to get back to the room after taking a shower. But we could manage with this after all.

Everything was absolutely excellent: Perfectly clean, beautifully decorated accomodation. It was obvious, that the hosts put much effort and love in this Place. Our room was very bright, spacious, we had an external bathroom, which was also very clean and close to our room, very practical. Communication with Corrado was easy, he was absolutely attentive and helpful. Location in Catania couldn‘t have been better, Right in the City Center and close to the Central Station, everything in walking distance. Very Safe and comfortable Place. Thanks a lot, Corrado

The suite was extremely clean & modern. Added extras of water, tea & coffee pods, crackers & jam. The shower was super powerful & a hairdryer was also provided. The host took us to the airport for a fee, which was so helpful as it was early when we left. The location was excellent with tourist attractions a very short walk away, as well as a tourist information centre. There were restaurants & bars just downstairs. There was also a small shop across the road from the apartment where we were able to buy water, drinks & snacks. We ate outside at the seafood restaurant downstairs & were given a 20% discount off food, which the host made a point of making sure we asked for it as we stayed at Cantu Suites.

Everything, especially Corrado who was always a message away and replying instantly. Location central to Catania's highlights. Very comfortable and clean. Clear instructions to enter property. Tea/coffee making facilities with daily replenishments. With regards to the bedroom, all appliances - air conditioner, coffee machine, kettle, mini bar and TV functioned well. Bathroom equipped with hairdryer, soap, and towels. Even though bathroom was external to our room there were no issues whatsoever. Corrado was extremely helpful and following up every day. Smooth check-in and check-out. We were allowed to leave luggage at the property since we had a late flight. Really felt at home and looking forward to stay again on our next visit to Catania.

The room was really great but even better was our host Luigi. We had contact via WhatsApp from the first day until the last and he was super friendly, helpful and responded very quickly. He also helped us organize a rental car amongst other things. The bed is very comfortable and the jacuzzi was awesome. Also the location of the hotel is amazing and very central. If we visit Catania again, we will 100% come back to Cantu Suite. Thank you for the great stay!

The only criticism I can think of is that you can hear some street noise in the evening in the room, so it is not super quiet.

Our flight landed in Catania and it departs from here as well that’s why we decided to make this city our base for our 10 day vacation. From here we went on day trips (Taormina,Savoca,Siracusa, Notto) with trains. We didn’t want to change accommodations every 2-3 days in this heat because we didn’t rent a car. What we knew for sure was that we wanted to stay in a safe neighborhood because this was our first time in Catania. Our choice fell upon Cantu Suite with the help of others reviews, so we thought we’d leave our own. The apartment is like in the pictures. It’s very clean with daily cleaning and water supply. It’s located in the old town, walking distance from everything. (train and bus stations, stores, restaurants, walking street, sights, beach) Corrado and Luigi are very attentive and helpful. They share a lot of information with you about the city, transport. The communication was easy through WhatsApp. I recommend this accommodation to everyone and if come back here at any given chance.

We had a wonderful stay in Catania. The suite was absolutely beautiful – very clean, with a private whirlpool, a balcony, and even a spacious terrace. The location was excellent, close to the city center but still quiet enough to relax. A special thanks goes to Luigi, who made our stay unforgettable with his kindness and attention to every detail.
