Good location, very close to the center and to Catania Centrale.

Did not like the noise from the street in the morning and night, the windows do not isolate enough the noise.

We stayed at the B&B Opera for 8 nights in early October and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The central location is ideal for those who want to stroll around the old part of the city. There is no elevator, however, so you need to be prepared to walk up and down a few flights of stairs each day. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet, even though it was located on a narrow and busy street; in addition, the blinds closed completely to make the room as dark as we wanted it. There are many nice restaurants, cafes, and tour offices within easy walking distance of the B&B. In particular, we enjoyed the breakfasts they offer, which are truly exceptional! We had delicious cappuccinos, a freshly made omelet, freshly baked croissants, and fruit juice every day There was also fresh fruit, sliced tomatoes, olives, yogurt, rolls with olive oil, and more to choose from, all for 9 euros each per day. The breakfasts are well worth the price (actually, they are a bargain!) and we really enjoyed eating our breakfasts on the outdoor terrace in the cool morning air. The people who run this B&B are terrific and they will take great care of you. Here's an example: we were planning to take the train to Palermo at the end of our stay, which would have required us to take 2 separate trains (there is no direct train to Palermo) and a taxi when we got to Palermo, which would have taken us more than 4 hours of traveling. However, the owner's son, Alberto, agreed to drive us directly to our hotel in Palermo for less money and in about half the time it would have taken us otherwise! Obviously, we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who doesn't need to use an elevator to get to the upper floors.

We fell in love with this place. It felt like home. It's so charming and cosy. The host is very kind and helpful, we received lots of useful advices. All the staff is amazing. Location is fantastic, everything is near. Breakfast is wonderful, mornings in the fabulous courtyard are truly unforgettable. This place is a lovely hidden gem in that big city. We will be more than happy to come back again!

I especially loved the high ceiling and the balcony. There is also a common kitchen and dining room equipped with everything necessary. Lovely inside terrace

Staff were nice and friendly and asisted all the time. Clean. Good breakfast. Location good and a short walk to cafes and sightseeing

Being encouraged by BnB owner to book a Mt Etna tour through a 2nd rate tour company (Lemon Tours) . Old old falling apart vehicle & a bit poor quality overall. We then did another day trip elsewhere to Mt Etna & Taorima with other company and was very impressed.

The guest house is centrally located in the old historical part of Catania and within easy walking distance of good restaurants.The owner/host Constantino was excellent and i had a lovely stay here..

The guest house is in an old building and as such their is no lift and the accommodation is on the 3rd floor so if you have a lot of luggage this may be an issue

Very nice arrangement of rooms and terrace around a courtyard. Super friendly, kind and helpful host. Excellent location for restaurants, sightseeing and transport. Good self catering facilities.

Not all sockets in the room were accessible. The toilet was difficult to access because of the oversized sink.

Great location close to the town centre, the train-station and to buses going to the airport. Very nice rooms with a friendly host and a nice communal area with coffe and a place to hang out. A lot of good restaurants cose by.

Stairs are always hard to negotiate with a lot of luggage, this wasn't too far up.

Room was big enought, has a private bathroom with shower, one wardrobe, air conditioning, TV (but only Italian channels) and fridge. Also there was a little balcony but too small to sit there. Room was cleaned everyday, and the towels were changed daily. Also we had access to shared kitchen and dining room, and there was posibilities to buy breakfast or some tours. Owners were very nice and helpful so there is nothing to complain about. Location of B&B Opera is fantastic, near the main street in Catania Via Etnea, but luckily was very calm and quiet.

Sometimes wifi didn't work, was hard to see movies on the phone and the walls were very thin that we had heard everything in others room.

The host was charming and very welcoming. He made sure that we had all that we needed for our entire stay.

My partner is 2 metres tall and so the bathrooms were a little snug, but the shower was awesome.
