In a bakery which was a 2-minute walk from the B&B, one could choose one pastry and one drink for breakfast. Delicious cornettos, There was also a good coffee machine at the rooms. A fridge was also available - very appreciated. The room was bright and tastefully decorated.

In the room, there was very little surface area for placing toiletry bag, purchases, map, etc.. A low surface on which to place the suitcase would have freed the single desk for such purpose.

Great location, the host was very friendly. My parents were travelling on their own and he ensured to be within the hotel within 10 minutes to check them in which was extremely helpful for them after the whole morning of walking! My parents said that the host was very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was very close to the hotel (3 min walk).The host also helfully answered my questions regarding the transport to the airpot from the hotel which is only 2 minutes walk.

Close to airport, comfortable bed, modern and clean. The owner has a pastry shop 2 minutes from the B&B and it has absolutely exquisite pastries. The owner helped me at 1am; he was so patient and nice.

I’m from Canada and didn’t understand that when they say second floor it really is the third floor for us. Europe starts floors at 0 and we start floors at 1. So I had some confusion at check-in and only because it was after hours as someone is there during the day. So you can do automatic check-in from floor what I call floor 3. That said the owner took my call at 1AM and walked me through finding how to check in. He was fabulous! It was very good value for the money.

Very good location, nicely renovated room, very nice breakfast in a neighbouring cafe. There is a kitchen for the guests with coffee, tea, milk, water. Helpful host.

It was a little difficult to get into the building. I rang the doorbell of someone, probably a resident who lives there and he let us in. It would have been useful to share info about check in when we communicated before our arrival.

Exceptionally cleans and comfortable. Breakfast croissant was to die for - the best we had in Sicily! How was very polite and did remote checking which was easy to understand. We only stayed one night before our departure but would be great for a longer stay as well! Loved the bathroom!

Would be nice to have bedside tables and maybe I’ve missed it but to have a name of the cafe for breakfast- we were struggling to find it.

The apartment is well kept and clean. The location is an easy walk (less than 10 minutes) from the central station. The breakfast provided was good and convenient at a local bakery.

Other guests talking in the shared hallway were trying to be quiet, but the noise reverberates and is audible. Maybe putting in a rug or something to absorb the noise or thicker doors would help. This, however, was a minor thing, as our overall stay was a good one.

Our stay was really good! The owner was very helpful and solved all the questions. The location is great, very close to the center, cafes, bus stops. At the same time is it very quiet because of low traffic on that street. You can always have coffee and tea from the shared kitchen. The breakfast was served in the owner's cafe and consisted of a croissant and a cup of coffee - very delicious, but we wanted to eat in half an hour...

Breakfast could be more nutritive, like eggs, sandwiches, or something like that.

Very nice design of the room, small balcony was cute too. It was clean and there were toiletries and towels. It was very close to centre and the bus terminals as well.

The breakfast was fine, a coffee and some pastries, all very tasty in a nearby cafe. The only thing was negative that out of the 3 days one day on Monday there was no breakfast provided. For private reasons, and he informed us the night before, a bit late. I would have preferred him to arrange it for an other cafe or compensate it somehow, since the price was including breakfast too.

The breakfast was excellent. I had a coffee and a croissant each morning and did buy other cakes from the Patisserie where it was served. The food from the bakery is exceptionally good. The owner of B and B Stramondo and all the staff at his bakery were so friendly and made me feel so welcome. I had a wonderful time in Catania!

Super accommodating, I was able to check in early. Great location, the bus station is less than 10 minutes walk. The historic center is about 10 minutes walk away. The neighborhood is not the best ( I was there as a solo female traveler), but if you stay on the main roads that's fine. Overall great stay.
