It was really close to the seashore and the city centre. We also enjoyed the breakfast, it was really amazing. The wide range of products you can eat and taste.The staff was helpful and could speak English a little bit. The room was clean and tidy, the air conditioning worked well, but the WiFi connection was pretty low.

It is close to the railway station that is why it was a little noisy during the night.

The breakfast was plentiful with so much variety we also had a balcony( great for drying clothes) but was noisy as on a main thoroughfare. The staff were wonderful. I even commented that I would have liked a kettle in my room for a late night cup of tea and the next day when we came back to our room there was kettle tea cups and teas and sugar and little packs of honey! So thoughtful.

No elevator and TV was so tiny

We loved our stay at Hotel Ferrari. We extended our stay from four to six nights! The staff are wonderful. We had a large triple room with a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The cleaning staff were very thoughtful and brought a third luggage rack for us when they noticed we had 3 suitcases. The room also has a safe with a key and a refrigerator. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the location, a short walk to the marina, train station, and city center. Chiavari is a lovely town and a great base for exploring the region. It is also a very good value.

The hotel is very convenient for both the city centre and the sea. It is run very professionally, but has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, with plenty of storage, and always spotless. The breakfast selection is marvellous. We found the WiFi very reliable. All in all, we would highly recommend.

We liked the whole experience.

Location was really nice. A perfect choice to stay away from the crowds ar Conque Terre and still enjoy a pretty neibourhood which has all the needed facilities. Nearby area was lovely full of lovely people. Breakfast was really good, a lot of choices, really nice croissants 😊 Staff was really nice and always made us feel comfortable and greeted us with smiley faces everytime.

At first glance it doesn’t seem like too much and we were a bit discouraged by the way the room looked. Pretty old school furniture. But to be honest, location and quality of people made up for the first impression of the room and all turned up really good in the end.

The hotel staff were welcoming and charming to us. The breakfast buffet , which extended down both sides of the long dining room,was the best we've had in Italy, the choice was enormous, from traditional cakes and pastries to many choices of muesli, nuts, dried fruit, eggs and cheeses. Even bottles of Activa macrobiotic drink ! After breakfast we went for a walk under the colonnades of nearby historic Chiavari, which was very atmospheric on a rainy day. All in all we had a lovely stopover here.

Front of house super nice and helpful, really warm welcoming. Feels like you're staying at someones house vs a hotel. Rooms are large and spacious, those at front have balconies (but it faces out to the road so too nosiy for myself), large bathrooms. Breakfast provided featured a mix of continental, local breads, cakes, pastries (if you like sweets, you're sorted). Would stay at again.

The room I was given - although nice - had a balcony and faced onto the main road, which combined with the proximity to a trainline and my hearing led to a sleepless first night. However I asked in the morning to change room to the back of the hotel and the manager accommodated me immediately.

The friendliness of the staff, our welcome after a long day of train rides and sightseeing. The breakfast staff was welcoming as well and attended to our every request. The offerings were varied enough to satisfy our morning needs. The quality of the food, juices and coffees were very nice. The entire facility was as clean as a whistle! Spotless in every way!

It would have been nice to have an elevator. For older folks, the circular stairway was a little dizzying after a long day. The bathtub could use a complete shower door. Some water would find its way to the bathroom floor if the partial enclosure opened while the person is showering. Such a small issue would not keep us from staying there again in the future.

Staff was helpfull to explain where to park the car and find the nearest grocery. The bed was comfortable.

One bottle of water could be offered for free instead of paying 1,5 EUR.

Had a twin room as requested. Very clean and comfortable. Nice balcony even had a tablecloth for the table outside. Hair dryer and small fridge in room. Water extra. No hot drink facilities in room though. Breakfast was a large selection of cold buffet. Long hours for breakfast and no time restrictions at night as 24 hour reception. Staff very friendly, spoke English. Able to keep our luggage in reception as our train left a few hours after check out. Can be a bit noisy on balcony as above a main road and right near the train line but good noise insulation with patio doors closed. Great central location. Would stay again as very good value for money.
