I absolutely loved this hotel. Everything was perfect. The room felt brand new, with a spacious and very comfortable bathroom. The air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. The location is excellent, with convenient parking and a train station nearby. There are lots of restaurants in the area, and one really good one is right Next door. The staff were very supportive and kind. This is definitely the kind of place you want to come back to again and again.

The facilities of the hotel are very modern and you feel it is a tidy, clean and confortable place to be. The room had everything I needed, although the room was very small, but still for a few nights is perfectly all right. The best experience of the hotel is not even the hotel itself but the service, the owners are always looking to make you feel as much confortable as possible, they send you the newspaper on a daily basis, they have a lovely organization for the breakfast, and they even sent me a message after I left to wish me safe flight home. I recommend this place 100 %

I think maybe the one thing to mention is that, since the room is really small, the desk is not really confortable to work sine after some time you might feel a bit uneasy on the back, since the chair doesnt have any back support. But still it was a minor detail.

Everything! The hotel itself is stunning and a credit to its owners and staff. Our room was spacious and had a lovely small balcony overlooking the port. The room was spotless and had nice little extras such as a Nespresso coffee machine with a plentiful supply of capsules and slippers which were greatly appreciated after a long day sightseeing. On our first evening after a long day traveling we enjoyed an aperitif on the beautiful patio before going out for some food. Our breakfast each morning was fabulous, again enjoyed on the patio of the stunning garden which is maintained to perfection. We were provided with all the information we required regarding places to visit and recommendations for restaurants to dine in. Organising a day at the beach in a local beach club was no trouble at all and we were even provided with little bags each containing a beach towel for our trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Throughout our stay we were treated in such a friendly yet professional manner by both the owners and staff that made our experience so enjoyable and memorable. Lavagna train station is less than 15 minutes walk and has great connectivity to all the local coastal towns, Santa Margherita and Portofino are a must and of course the Cinque Terre. Lavanga is a lovely small town and is worth exploring for nice restaurants and cafés. Nearby Chiavari is a 20 minute walk across the bridge in the centre of town, is a beautiful old town worth a visit early morning for stroll around the stunning streets, a stop for a coffee and for some shopping (ie before 12.30 when everything suits)

Absolutely everything was fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread was excellent - freshly baked cake every day, croissants, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, cereals and coffee from a machine. The afternoon apperitivos are very reasonably priced with good snacks. The room was very clean and smelled great. I was in a small double room facing the railway which could be very loud but closing the window blocked out all of the noise. Great location - walking distance to both the Lavagna and Chiavari train stations, the ocean right outside and lots of restaurants nearby. Safe location for a solo female. Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely everything! It was one of the most beautiful hotels we have been to and that includes the 5 star ones! Pure elegance with a beautiful view of the harbour at the rear of the hotel. Fabrizio and his wife were so hospitable and kind, as were all the staff and we enjoyed every second of our stay. Breakfast was lovely and the dining area gorgeous. We actually didn’t want to leave! I would advise that if you want to visit the area, including Cinque Terre stay here rather than in La Spezia - it is much much nicer!!! I am very sorry we didn’t!

The staff was so nice and the service was great. They helped us figure out all navigation and transportation for our plans. They were very accommodating and always went out of their way to make sure you were always comfortable. The hotel was very clean, smelled so well with their signature scent and has the best hotel breakfast I've ever had!

Our stay at the Blue Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the smooth check-in process to the clean and spacious room, everything was exceptional. The breakfast offered was delicious, adding to the pleasant experience. What stood out the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, making my stay truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is run by extremely friendly and very helpful hosts. It is well decorated, well equipped and smells very good. Breakfast is excellent. The location is also very nice, we had a room with a terrasse and view on the port which was very relaxed.

A lovely small hotel near the marina in Lavagna. The owners are exceptionally warm and helpful. They offer a delicious full breakfast and wine/cocktails in the evening. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained.

They were so warm and welcoming. They were friendly and helpful. They had breakfast waiting for us every morning and that was such a highlight of the stay. The place was VERY clean and smells amazing.
