The views from the location are spectacular but this comes at a price. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Each morning breakfast was full of great food and beautiful surroundings.

Arriving to the property is not easy for an out of town driver. The switchbacks on the road were difficult to navigate and the roads are barely wide enough to accommodate one car in either direction. Locals drive fast and leave minimal room to navigate the road when coming toward you. The drive to Lavagna or Sestri levanti is 15-20 min each way so this is a bit of a hassle. For these reasons I don’t know if the spectacular views make up for this.

The location in Lavagna is perfect for a relaxing getaway, offering both seclusion and proximity to local attractions. The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with Mediterranean charm, and the attention to detail is commendable. The outdoor dining area is one of the highlights, with beautiful sunsets that enhance the dining experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the stay.

While the experience was nearly flawless, the only minor issue was the Wi-Fi signal, which occasionally dropped in certain areas. However, this hardly detracted from the overall relaxation and enjoyment.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Riviera, the place is amazing and quiet. The sea view pool and the garden are beautiful and well maintained. The room was large and very clean, tastefully decorated. The staff is very kind, attentive and professional, organizes everything to make your stay magical. The resort fully deserves 5 stars. Thank you!

We had an great time there, even with the bad weather. Rooms are large (at least the one we've had), modern and very well cleaned. It's very well placed, not too far from Portofino, and with a little effort (and a car) even the Cinque Terre can be visited from this base. Both restaurants are very good quality, we've had dinner in both of them. Breakfast is not buffet, so it's difficult to compare it with other 5 star hotels, but it's good enough.

The personnel in the reception is not exactly 5 star and there's a lot of noise from the cleaning people.

This was the most special property charming, helpful staff! We arrived a day early (our mistake), and they still accommodated us. The pool with a view was stunning. Emma's meals were delicious and the lovely evening waiter/concierge was attentive and lovely to chat with. I could not rate this property more highly!

The parking was a little tricky, and the road to get there a little bit scary but otherwise no complaints at all!

Stunning location! Room was big, clean and well appointed. Staff were attentive and friendly. A good example was they provided extra tea facilities every day after we asked on day one. Pool area and sun loungers were perfect, with bar by the pool also. Happily sat in sun looking at views all day. The two restaurants are also excellent, Terra in particular is the better of the two with authentic Italian food that was excellent. Aria has slightly more formal offering and the views. Overall a wonderful location that I'd 100% recommend

At the price point I would not expect to have to pay for things like water by the pool which was disappointing. Location is isolated so nothing nearby (20 min drive) which is both a pro and con. Cinque terra is 1.5hr away and portofino 1.2 hour.

I was absolutely delighted with this hotel! The architecture is simply stunning — every detail is thoughtfully designed, and the building feels both elegant and welcoming. I especially want to highlight the staff: incredibly caring and attentive people who create a truly warm and hospitable atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful stay — I will definitely come back!

Amazing views! Hyper quiet and relaxing, even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay we had the feeling that there was nobody else and the entire hotel was just for us. Extremely friendly staff and the evening drinks spot was by far our favorite.

Everything !!! Lorenzo and his wife were so nice, same as Mateo the receptionist, this place is beyond expectations perfect romantic rest in an actual postcard, great breakfast and great restaurants reccommended by Lorenzo
