A great location on the main promenade; the staff were helpful and friendly, and very patient while we practised our italian; breakfast was plentiful. Evening drinks on the terrace while people-watching was a delight. The car park was well sited and it was interesting to see an array of smart sports cars each day. The hotel pool was large enough and not overly busy.

Non-dairy products (oat milk, non-butter spread) would have been helpful to complement the fresh fruit, toast & jam options for vegans. The use of sunbeds/umbrella on the private beach was a bit hefty at 50 euros a day.

excellent location, on the seashore and close to the old town. The hotel is a historical building, the lobby, the staircase, everything makes you feel like you're in a museum, at the same time being very comfortable. Upon arrival we received a room update, a suite on the roof with a wonderful view of the sea and the area, practically 2 rooms, although we only used one but this update was a pleasant surprise and we appreciated it. The hotel has a beautiful garden where breakfast can be served and also a swimming pool. The private beach is across the street, it was under construction when we were there, but the weather wasn't good either, so we didn't benefit on it

nice to have a more varied breakfast with vegetables and seasonal fruits. Parking is expensive (15 euros/day)

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, I loved everything about it. The ambiance inside and outside the hotel was stunning!! The staff were amazing, the location is amazing and Sestri Levante is even more beautiful than Portofino. The hotel has it’s own private beach and lockers for guests, however doesn’t open until a certain date. My husband who loved Portofino and has been there a few times, now loves Sestri Levante even more for the fact it is a little more bigger the town and less touristy. I would come back here and to this hotel in a heartbeat, this hotel offers everything!!

We stayed with you for 1 week and we LOVED everything about your hotel - the location, amazing stylish beautiful venue, super friendly staff (every person!), tasty breakfasts, lovely dinner with live music on the restaurant terrace, cosy sunbathing and pool area, great pool, wonderful music choice in the restaurant area, and, once again - wonderful staff! Thank you! Gracie! We will definitely come back to your hotel and suggest to all our friends!

We loved everything.

It was the most beautiful historic building with an amazing history. At the same time it had all the modern facilities such as a beautiful swimming pool.The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Originally we were allocated a really small room with a tiny window where the air conditioning was broken. But the manager moved us to a much better room quickly, with no fuss. I was impressed.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly, I asked prior to the visit for a nice room as it was for a special birthday and they gave us a lovely suit, with a sea view. The location was excellent as was the service at the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with very many choices for hot and cold produce. Hotel surroundings were very historic which we appreciated gives you a feeling of splendor. Transport arranged by the hotel were excellent and on time.

It was a pity that they were not doing evening meals, however there are excellent restaurants just along from the hotel.

The hotel entrance, facade and room decor were stunning. The staff were very helpful when we arrived early to ensure my husband got into the room early to make a business meeting. The gardens were lovely.

The breakfast was disappointing - poor orange juice, horrible coffee and only scrambled eggs on buffet. The pastries were good and the bread fresh though the ham and cheese options were basic. Not worth the money for breakfast although the room and hotel made up for it. The weather was awful so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or private beach

Very interesting and comfortable hotel in a good location. The rooms and facilities were very good; the interiors and gardens were stylish (antique) and well kept. Breakfast was good and nicely presented (inside and out in the garden), Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The beaches (private and public) and town centre were close and attractive.

The television did not have any English Channel (but we did in upgraded room). Rooms would benefit with a kettle.

These are minor negatives in relation to positive experience . Missing porter service for bags on arrival/departure.Bathroom not air conditioned and no extractor fan to dissipate steam after a shower. No baths shower only.

didn’t like the breakfast format. It was too restrictive from a small kiosk in the garden, waiting for service etc. we much prefer the buffet style breakfast arrangement, where you can choose what you want and help yourself to as much as you require.
