Best position possible, right in the very center of Sestri Levante, yet on a hill and with amazing views. The staff is very gentle, the management is very reasonable and tries to accomodate client’s wishes as much as possible. Highly suggested are Room 311 (if you are looking for a small room) and Room 315 (if you are looking for a large one): these rooms have an absolutely stunning view to the “Baia del Silenzio” and both have a balcony.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. Not very well organized (frequently partially empty serving dishes) and the choice could have been better.

The location near restaurants, waterfront bars and shops was extremely convenient however the hotel is elevated and offers the most magnificent views day and night. We had a wonderful time in 2 room types - 3rd floor partial sea view for adults and 1st floor courtyard room for teen sons. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of options and the pool area was immaculate- again with epic views. My family rated the stay either 9 or 10/10. My husband said we will definitely be back and one of the best boutique hotels we have experienced. I would highly recommend this hotel - it is completely charming.

Nothing really - rooms a little small but well appointed.

the views from this hotel are worth the price of admission. We had lunch and snacks for dinner in the bar with superb service. Breakfast was also exceptional in selection and choices with an attentive wait staff even though breakfast was included in our stay.

Nothing much - the hotel has some age and thus some issues of lighting, switches etc. but all manageable. Very relaxing environment with GREAT staff

We LOVED the outdoor space of this hotel. The pool area & outdoor dining area was incredible. The views were amazing and every staff member we met were so attentive and nice and remembered you every day. We felt very looked after. Great options at breakfast too and the shuttle service to Sestri Levante was great if you have luggage and couldn't walk / taxis hard to find. This is a great location if you want to visit Portofino & the Cinque Terre as the train station is a short 10min walk (or you can get the free shuttle service from the hotel). The town is also only a short walk away and has lots of great restaurants & bars. Perfect location.

Our room was located at the elevator so it got quite noisy as the rooms are not soundproof. The room next to us on our first night 2 nights had someone with a bad cough and we could hear it very clearly all night. We are good sleepers so we didn't mind hugely and never complained but we did notice it. While the outdoor spaces are amazing, the rooms could do with a bit of an update as they are quite old (but still well maintained). I knew this when booking, from looking at the photos of the rooms so I was expecting it but still noted for the price. Not a lot of space in the rooms if there for more than a few days, could do with some more shelving and we had to leave our cases on the balcony to make enough floor space in the room.

Your room (306) was directly under the kitchen so very noisy early in the morning. Also next to room cleaning store, so more noise!

Breakfast was exceptional and the service team were very polite, friendly and helpful. The view from the Bar to the both Bays was cinematic, especially at the sunset. The reception team, the ladies especially Sonja, and the gentlemen also were always ready to give any help with a beautiful smile.

The room was small and, the sound from the small freezer was sometime annoying.

The view from our room's balcony directly out across the Bay of Silence and to our right the coastline of the southern end of the Italian Riviera and the shoreline of the Bay of Tegulio were both wonderful. Only from the next higher floor (the Olimpo Restaurant) and the highest floor (the Zeus Sky Bar) would the view be any more spectacular. The sumptuous buffet breakfast was one the most extensive we have ever seen on any of trips abroad.

Everything here at Vis a Vis exceeded our expectations, as I indicated above.

Stayed n newly refurbished Deluxe room,3A, and can highly recommend it as quiet and restful with a beautiful view. And worth the upgrade.The pool is ideal for a few hours or the hike day and the breakfast was a high quality buffet with plenty of choice. The hotel sits high above the town with a sensational aspect, and you can be in the centre within minutes using the external lift. Will definitely return to Vis A Vis and Sestri Levante.

Amazing location. The sunset aperitif was beautiful and the host extremely kind. Check in was very smooth, thanks to the friendly and helpful Sonia.

Room and breakfast room a bit past their prime. Air conditioner was not working, but to my surprise the technician was able to get it to run. Unfortunately, we couldn’t regulate the temperature and by morning it was uncomfortably cool.

View from the restaurants was fabulous. First floor room was good with lots of room in jr suite.The breakfast was amazing with endless quality choices. A great option for hungry guests. Front desk and valet staff was so friendly.

Breakfast serving staff was less than friendly. Common area finishes, like carpeting, could use updating. Double room was supposed to be non smoking but filled with smell of cigarettes but staff was happy to change.
