Although we stayed at Hotel Lo Campagnar only for one night, that's all we needed to realize how great the place is. The hotel staff is wonderful and open to helping with any questions you might have. The location is perfect – you can go for a romantic stroll through the narrow streets of the charming village of Dolonne, and the center of Courmayeur is a 10-minute walk away. The room wasn't huge but more than enough for two people. Everything was spotless, and we had a fantastic view of the mountains from our balcony. But the highlight of the stay was the breakfast. You can order warm meals straight from the kitchen or choose from a bunch of delicious foods from the buffet. The cake was so good I had to get two slices.

For the price we paid, everything was perfect. If I'm ever in Courmayeur again, I'm definitely staying at Hotel Lo Campagnar.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, including being welcoming towards (well-behaved) guest dogs. The breakfast included many different options, all of good quality. The pre-dinner aperitivo snack and drink sessions were very enjoyable. The walk to/from the Dolonne ski lift was short enough to be no real burden, even when wearing ski boots and carrying skis, poles etc.

While the reception area was very nice, it was slightly short on comfortable seating for the overall number of guests. The covered garage was being used to store outside furniture during the winter, making it a bit of an obstacle course when parking and loading the cars. The ski room wasn't cleaned as eagerly as the rest of the hotel.

Everything! It’s is beautifully decorated with charming ornaments such as gonks, reindeer, sheep, cosy cushions and blankets on the seats outside. It’s lit up with gorgeous lights at night making it feel like a magical hideaway. The food was delicious! The room had a thermostat to control the temperature to my liking and was lovely and warm. I was snowboarding and the walk to the lift was only a few minutes to the Dalonne gondola. The staff were amazing in every way! They were friendly, helpful and so welcoming it that it felt like a home from home. A big thank you to Giuseppe, Sigrun, Zoran and Luigi, who made my holiday an unforgettable one. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat ❤️

Rooms are a bit small.

Breakfast was fantastic, buffet along with making you a number of options to go along with it, they will also freshly squeeze juice for you not just by putting out containers but they do offer that as well. Coffee and cappuccino readily available for the asking. Dinner was also great. The location is by far the best for Courmayeur skiing, a true ski in ski out hotel with out walking to lift. I've stayed at other locations and this is the one for me. I will be back, I would not be able to justify staying elsewhere. As you can see with my pictures attached, that is the view from my room that I was fortunate enough to stay in.

Absolutely nothing not to like about this place. if anyone had something bad to say about this place in anyway, I would have to have words with them and see what kind of human being would speak badly of it. A great place to be.

We stayed December there was snow and the hotel and the surroundings looked magical. Inside it was beautiful and inviting. The room we stayed in had a balcony with stunning Mountain View’s our room was all pinewood so you felt like you were staying in a chalet. It was very warm even thou it was freezing outside. The staff were very friendly and accommodating the restaurant was good but could have done with more choices. Good breakfast. All in all we had a wonderful stay will definitely go again.

Nothing every thing was perfect

Everything was incredible, we had the best time. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the chalet was warm and welcoming. We loved the breakfast, having wines in the afternoon with the gorgeous views of the mountain or red wine by the fire. It was a short walk to the bottom of the gondola for skiing. We enjoyed dinner on the last night which was a highlight of the trip. The wine and duck and pasta were divine. We hope to return soon.

Loved our stay here, all the staff (of which there were many) were exceptionally friendly. Facilities are great....for example we had an aperitif in the garden with mountain views, we then had a fabulous meal in their restaurant (the best meal I had in our 1 month trip around Italy!) It feels more like a B&B than a hotel. The only reason it did not score 10/10 for me was because of the size of the room (on a 1 month trip, we have 2 large suitcases) and the layout/size of the bathroom was a bit awkward. But as a finale, to our trip, it was excellent! We also enjoyed our own little balcony. Make sure you take the gondola up Monte Bianco (Mont Blanc), wow! If you are a hiker, you can walk down. GPS could not find it and the tourist information office was not very helpful, so give them a call to ask for directions (put in Via/Rue Mont Chetif and drive into the old town then turn left!). Super quiet location on the edge of the old town. We recommend you reserve a table for dinner when you book!

This hotel is charming, with a friendly and personal approach. The restaurant was excellent, and service attentive. The hotel communicated with us very well and even helped us find somewhere for dinner at short notice. Nothing too much bother. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The outside sauna (which our friends tried, but I did not) was brilliant, with beautiful mountain views.

Honestly, this hotel is a perfect, homely gem of a place. Of course if you are looking for 5* facilities look elsewhere, but for a family feeling, welcoming, comforting place to stay, I cannot imagine you could do better.

Hotel was amazing, 5 minutes walk from bus stop ,couple of minutes walk to the Dolonne Gondola, ski back to hotel, The long Red piste to hotel and cutting through a field was fun on a snowboard!! Excellent breakfast, Dinner was absolutely delicious!! I recommend this Hotel. Full of charm, staff very friendly, like home from home. The Hospitality was outstanding !! I`ve been to Italy 6 times Skiing and Snowboarding, its is sooooo much better than France. The Italians are so welcoming, the food is the best in the world!! The pistes are fun and everything is laid back and easy. No lift queues, All round great experience, I highly recommend.
