The hotel had the PERFECT location, literally a few steps away from the main pedestrian street in town. Located otherwise great vis-a-vis restaurants and not so far from the main bus stop (an under 10 minute walk). We also liked the staff, most of them were very friendly and the breakfast area + breakfast were ample with a lot of options.

The rooms are a little bit outdated ALTHOUGH very clean and well maintained. They need to get new furniture, spruce up the bathroom a bit just to make it a bit more modern/updated/new.

I came back at 3 am after a long race and I had the worst surprise of finding the hotel closed and I could barely see anything in the dark. I found only a paper with the number of a security company. My phone was off. I had to find a place where to sleep till the morning. Could have been wiser for them to just leave a note: Ring the bell! The bell which I couldn't see at that time in the dark and being so tired...

The location was excellent,so close to the restaurants & shops and only 5 min walk to the main gondola

Unfortunately it was noisy as the floor boards were very creaky and you could hear people in all the different rooms Which is a shame as it really is a super little hotel

Superb location in the heart of town. You can walk everything. Very friendly staff, always available to provide assistance 24 hours. Secure parking available. Spacious rooms and excellent breakfast.

The room was spacious and very quiet with a great view, but the bed was not that comfortable. It was a bit difficult to get a good nights sleep.

The place is very quaint, the staff were very helpful, the location was very convenient, the breakfast was great! We liked observing the people who were hanging out in the many lobbies and common areas.

The room was a lot more basic than we expected. The bed was very uncomfortable. They retained our passports until we left, which we didn't love.

We had a wonderful and delightful experience here at the "hotel Centrale" in Courmayeur, the hotel is really nice, close to the sky facilities and in the centre of the town. Silvio especially was such a great person to meet, he's a receptionist and also a barman who served us a wonderful aperitif with a twisted but at the same time very tasty spritz campari, aka pirlo, recipe, with also a lot of delicacies just for us. We really felt like special guests. So my advice is to definetly check out this place, you'll surely enjoy it, trust me

Nice little hotel located right in the centre of Courmayeur. We were on a short trip with 4 dads and their sons. Staff are helpful, particularly Silvio who made it his mission to ensure each evening started off with fun for our sons. The breakfast was also very good.

They do not have much parking so you may have to stay (and pay) for the town car park.

Very friendly staff. We used the private parking for 10 Euro/day which was very convenient. Breakfast was good and could be had half an hour earlier because of the start for the CCC trail run. Beds are old fashioned with upper sheet and blanket or maybe that's normal Italian style. I would stay here again anytime.

Personally I don't like carpets in the room.

Excellent friendly helpful staff in a lovely central location. My only complaint is the amount of motorcycles that frequent the area at all hours of the day. I wanted to relax with the doors open on the balcony but wasn't able too. The room was very large.

Staff are very helpful and understand the needs of travellers well. For instance, I was on an Alpine climbing trip - even though check-in time is normally 2:00, when the desk clerk saw me outside at 12:00 taking off boots and rucsacks, obviously exhausted, he found a way to get me into my room immediately. Good restaurant recommendations too, or at least ones I could triangulate against online reviews and seem very consistent. Certainly a staff member helped me decide amongst several possible choices for dinner - very welcome again after a hard few days of climbing, when you don't want to have to think too hard about where to eat. Location could not be more central - the main street of Courmayeur is right there and the hotel is positioned close to its mid-point. Relaxing lounge area too, lots to like overall.

Less a 'didn't like' as a 'could be improved' - the same could be said for just about everywhere in Courmayeur - breakfast could have been improved. Nothing terrible, it's just that it would have been nice to see e.g. a really good range of quality cereals, hams, breads, pastries, jams, etc. - what was on offer felt fairly generic and mass-market. But the same could be said of just about every other choice in Courmayeur. Improve this, though, and the world will beat a path to your door, at least at breakfasttime!
