We had a fantastic stay at Hôtel de L’Arve. The staff were very helpful and very accomodating when we needed to change our dates. The 24 hour reception is very helpful and the hotel has great facilities. Room was very clean and had all ammenities we needed, we had a great view of the river and mountains on our balcony. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety and we enjoyed the free afternoon tea pastries, cake, tea and coffee. Wish we had longer to stay- I would recommend.

Wonderful location. The apartment was modern, luxurious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen and living room had everything we could need. We loved the option of breakfast in the hotel, which was excellent. The complimentary tea and cake in the afternoon was such a treat. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite.

The only thing that would stop us staying in that particular apartment again was the lack of a toilet on the same floor as the bedroom. The two bathrooms were beautifully decorated and I’m sure a washing machine is very useful but we are of an age that we need the loo in the night and going up the stairs to the second bathroom was annoying to say the least. If we had another couple staying with us which was an option, it would also have been embarrassing. But otherwise we Loved the place and if your bladders are better than ours then we would highly recommend staying there.

I had already been to Chamonix a few times and hadn’t been at Hotel de L’Arve before. It was a great surprise. The location of the hotel is incredible, you walk 3 minutes to the bus stop where you take the bus directly to the lifts. The breakfast is really nice, with local and international food. You have all you need at the hotel, ski storage, game room, gym, bar, etc but the staff was the highlight of the accommodation, they were all very friendly and welcoming, it really stands out. I definitely recommend the hotel.

The is located at a beautiful river side and so convenient to go everywhere. From my room and my huge outside patio, I can see Mont Blanc clearly while listening the soothing sounds of snow water river running. 5 minutes walking to Train Station. Several bus lines within 1 or 2 minute walking distances. The Main Street through the town is 100 meter away. Breakfast is so rich and good, fresh fruits, bakeries, juices, cheeses , meats, fresh cooked boiled brown eggs and more. 24-hour staff onsite services, tea/coffee 24 hours, homemade cakes every afternoon. All staffs are polite and try very hard to be helpful. Shoutout to marvelous Sam. She is so eager to help and extremely knowledgeable about the town and surrounding areas. I had the best time of my life on the trail and it’s surrounding small towns/French farms she recommended to me. Best valued hotel in Chamonix!

Staff’s knowledge about the town and attractions/activities are uneven. Some staff has zero knowledge and could use some peer learning or proper training.

This was our second stay at Hotel de l’Arve, and we greatly enjoyed both. It really is a hidden gem, located centrally in Chamonix, with easy access to nearby supermarkets, restaurants and bus routes. The family units are very spacious, with balconies, picturesque views, and plenty of amenities like W/D, kitchen facilities, ski storage, and heated boot racks. There is also a common sauna and fitness room in the facility. The common area is a nice place to unwind after a day of skiing or sightseeing, with games and free nonalcoholic beverages.

When we arrived for our second stay, the boiler and central heating was not working for our unit. However, the staff was very accommodating, setting up temporary heaters to ensure our comfort while the repair was underway.

So welcoming, we loved the staff, breakfast and drinks out all day. The location was amazing for skiing, right next to ski bus stops, hire shops and the town for eating. Elina on reception was particularly helpful, giving us all the local information we needed for a great stay. There was a sauna that could be booked too! And when we had to leave early to get our flight they put breakfast on for us at 4.30am so we could have something before we left.

We have travelled to Chamonix and stayed at different hotels and apartments over the years, and this was the best place property we have stayed at. The staff were very warm, kind, and helpful. The location was very central, close to shops and restaurants, but also the gondolas and hiking trails to the summits. The room was clean, very comfortable, and had a great view of the mountains with a large balcony right over the river, where we could sit and enjoy a view of Mt. Blanc. The amenities of the hotel were great for us, including the breakfast, tea, coffee, purified water and sauna.

That we had to leave when our vacation was over.

Amazing hotel, great location, and the most friendly and helpful hotel team that I’ve ever encountered. The staff just couldn’t do enough for you and they were all super helpful with all aspects of panning and making your stay a good one. Thank you! I’ll 100% use this hotel again for my next trip to Chamonix.

A few hooks on wall or bathroom doors would greatly assist. No control of temp and humidity in room was disappointing. Hot water in shower limited

Its location. We were given a room with Mountain View and the stream flowing outside. We had a balcony too. Fantastic views from the balcony. The hotel is a minute away from the shops and restaurants. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and were happy to help and answer most of our questions. It offers free hot drinks and also has a water cooler with squash bottles there so you could make a cold drink as well. Nice seating downstairs with a pool table. There is a room for storage of the ski gear ie skis, boots, helmets and poles. They also offer free bicycles to be taken for rides. The sauna is available and needs to be booked for an hours slot. There is a small fitness area adjacent to it. It’s just 2-3minutes away from the Brevent cable car to the ski resort. The room was nice as well (a bit tired but not too much of a bother). Plenty of parking space available. The breakfast room is also reasonably big and not much queuing is needed. The breakfast room staff are also brilliant. The view from the breakfast room is also fantastic. There are different teas available to try. There is a lift too.

Nothing much but a bit more hot food for breakfast would be great ie fried eggs. Also the boiled eggs were cold. It would be nice if they could be warm.
