The location was perfect, directly in the city centre. Definitely a good value for the price. Breakfast was classical continental - bread, butter, ham, cereal, coffee, fruits, sweet croissants, ..

It is quite noisy since there is a restaurant bellow and a busy square with bars (playing loud music) next door. Bathroom door could not be closed. There was a strange smell in the room the whole week we stayed there. Bathroom sink doesn't drain fast and the water stayed there some time. There was no fridge in the room (not a big deal).

Hotel Le Chamonix is perfectly located in the heart of Chamonix, making it very convenient for exploring the town. It is also close to the train station, which makes travel easy. The bathroom was warm and comfortable, providing a cozy experience after a day out in the cold. Overall, a great place to stay for a visit to Chamonix.

During my stay at Hotel Le Chamonix, my room happened to be on the 4th floor. The staircase is quite narrow, which made it a bit challenging to carry a large suitcase up to the room. However, the hotel's central location and warm bathroom made the stay enjoyable overall.

Luv the location, very close like 15 min walk to gondola to brevent. We came for TMB. Very close to city center for food, shopping , main market. Excellent location. Very French like. Staff who greeted us was very very jolly person, I think all were very nice in town. Owner was so kind to let us check in at 12pm. Very beautiful view to mountains.

Nothing about hotel but when we arrived tmb marathon was going on starting point was rt in front of the hotel and noise was unpreventable so had to use ear plugs. But not hotels fault, just happen to start there .

Hotel was perfectly located. Small, basic, but sufficient for what we needed and perfectly comfortable. There was an issue with our room, but staff acted immediately and it was rectified straight away...we ended up in a bigger room with a view of Mont Blanc, so nothing to complain about there. The only real thing I'd comment on is the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The thin net curtain did not fill the window and was very see-through at night. As it faced over a busy square, we didn't feel particularly comfortable and ended up having to block the gap with our bags and coats, and showering with the light off at night so we couldn't be seen. Not ideal.

Great location near the centre of Chamonix. Really nice lively bar downstairs and nice staff. Ok breakfast. Wholly = good value for money, as it's not easy to find hotels in this price-range this close to the centre. With a little renowation you could make wonders.

Rooms seems to be quite old, which makes you also think it's not too clean, eventhough we knew the room was clean as there were people activately cleaning the rooms. There could've been more space in the room and some tables or something to put your luggage on.

Very good location, right in the city centre with all the shops and restaurants, easy access to all attractions, Aiguille du Midi cable car, train stations, Mer de glace. Stay in the hotel allows to get a card for free use of trains. Relatively cheaper price, than other hotels in the area. Clean bad linen, daily room cleaning. Breakfast is exactly what you can expect from 2 stars. Fine option if you just need to stay somewhere with affordable price and very basic facilities.

Hotel is fairly dated. Room is tiny, shower cabins need some renovation. Due to absence of air conditioner and size of the room we had to keep the window open, and it was very noisy. Absence of elevator may be difficult for the people living in the higher floors.

The location is fantastic, close to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. The breakfast was basic but good. The daytime snacks were good and included toasted sandwiches. Good value and would definitely stay here again

If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. We spend most of our time out and about and the rooms were compact but fine. It was a bit surprising that you could not get a drink after 20:00 but most of the time we were ready for bed anyway.

I loved the traditional style of the hotel both Exterior and interior. I loved the shuttered windows, and having a pretty balcony with a French window was a treat. It was very special to have the wonderful view of Mont Blanc and so close. The staff were very pleasant and I was made to feel at home. My room and en-suite was very clean and the shower was hot. Breakfast was excellent and there was lots to choose from. I would definitely stay there again.

I'm struggling to find something I didn't like.

The staff are very kind and friendly. Special note to Mara, who is in charge of the bar, she is very helpful and friendly. Not to forget Xavier who is very courteous, considerate, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location which is the center of the town and close to tourist information center and beautiful chapel which is present in the neighbourhood. The place is clean and it’s worth the money.

There is no lift

We had a simple but very nice room that had a small balcony overlooking the bar downstairs and a small plaza. The bar provides a fun and friendly atmosphere when you arrive and then it closes early so you do not loose any sleep. The view over looking the mountains is amazing. The plaza has a church and tourist information office, so the location is fantastic. Our room had a nice shower and breakfast was great. They stored our luggage while we went hiking. The staff spoke some English and was friendly and helpful.

We will stay here again!
