Beautiful, small, friendly, family run hotel, quiet street, perfect location - 5min walk to the bus stop, 5min walk to the town centre with many shops and restaurants, 10min walk to Brevent-Flegere ski lift. The room was cosy, clean, bed comfortable, kettle in the room. Good selection for breakfast. As mentioned in another reviews - it is an old building and you will hear footsteps on the stairs and from above so if that bothers you bring some earplugs or choose another place. If you however prefer authentic places with some character you will enjoy this stay :)

This is the most AMAZING hotel. The couple are forever welcoming. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully supplied and the breakfast is extraordinary (smoked salmon, organic eggs and home baked bread). The walk to the ski bus took only minutes and there is even a cosy bar in the hotel that can be used as a study space. It was the perfect refuge, moments from the busy main street without any of the associated noise. Being a small hotel it truly has a family feel. Given our poor french, we were also so appreciative of our hosts' excellent english.

Nothing- it was perfect.

The manager, Madame Christine, is very nice and patient enough to speak French to beginner learners. The hotel is cozy and very close to Rue Joseph Vallot. There is room cleaning every day. The windows could be opened and the room heaters could be set to a lower setting so as not to make the room too warm for sleeping. The breakfast had delicious and very nourishing for anyone doing mountain sports.

Since the building is quite old, there is no elevator – and there seems to be no room to retrofit one. Also, the shower in the bath is not in a comfortable position for one to stand while showering.

We were very satisfied with the hotel itself. It was myself and my two sons staying in one room with three beds. The room was roomy enough for us guys. The hotel had an old cozy alpine feel about it, which we loved. While it is not a large modern hotel (which we were looking to avoid), the room and bathroom were modern enough to meet our satisfaction and needs, and the room was also cleaned everyday. This is a family-run hotel, and the warm charm of the people matched the level of charm of the hotel. They have a sweet little dog that hangs out in the lobby and greets you whenever you return after a long day on the slopes. We felt like we were returning home every day! Breakfast is down in the basement and was delicious every morning. There was something for everyone to eat. The hotel is also closely situated to all your needs in the city center. Right down the side street from the hotel is the main pedestrian walkway where there are delicious restaurants and plenty of shops and a supermarket. The place where we rented our skis is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel, and the bus stop to the lifts is right across the road from the ski rental place (so we were very happy with the convenience of having everything we needed close by). Breakfast starts at 7:30am each morning, but on our last day when we were being picked up early for our trip back to the airport, the hotel accommodated us with a 7:00am breakfast so that we headed off with full stomachs. You would not get that level of personal friendly service in a large hotel, and for all the reasons mentioned here, we will definitely return to this hotel again and highly recommend it for your stay. I believe the value we received exceeded the cost of the stay!

Small family-run hotel in a fantastic location in central Chamonix. Staff were very friendly and our room was comfortable and very clean. We were on the third floor and it was a steep climb up the stairs (no lift) - fine for us, but might be a problem for others (rooms 1 & 2 are on the ground floor). Breakfast was very good value, plentiful and tasty.

Lovely, clean hotel with friendly staff, comfortable bed, and the best shower of our 4 weeks away. The hotel is perfectly placed for walking access to the Aguille du Midi cable car and the railway station (10 mins), and for the town centre (5 mins). The selection of usb cables and charger is a nice touch.

Our room (7) was quite small, with only about 30 cms between the foot of the bed and the wall with the tv on it.

Cute little hotel. Room was small but comfortable, and the bed was good. Kept very clean and the staff are nice. Great little storage area for ski equipment. Perfectly located with great access to the ski lift and the centre of town.

The noise insulation is really bad so you can hear people moving around and talking, especially up and down the stairs. Prices were over inflated for the ski season.

Room is cozy and comfortable (2nd floor), great view where ever u look. very clean. Breakfast was good! nothing fancy, but certainly more than enough variety Location is the best you can get!

No ventilation in the restroom/shower. We checked out very early , 06:00 AM. The evening before our check out, we asked for breakfast pack (to go). We got an answer it's not possible at all (we were a bit disappointed)

Small but beautiful hotel with some quirky decorative twists, spotless with updated modern facilities. The breakfast was fantastic and gluten free guests catered for.

Overall everything was great and of a high standard, on one occasion there was no-one on reception early evening when we wanted to confirm that we would stay for breakfast as it stated we needed to book by 7pm, however in the morning we were accommodated without an issue.

The people that run the hotel are so kind and welcoming, there is an adorable dog that greets you as well. Location is amazing, one block from the pedestrian area. The room was small but efficient. Wonderful shower pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Though the hotel was full both nights that we stayed, we didn't hear any noise from other guests. We added on breakfast the first night which was delicious. Unfortunately, we had to leave too early the second morning to head back to the Geneva airport to enjoy breakfast again. Will stay here again the next time we are in Chamonix.

We loved everything
