It was very nice and super convenient, the car service to the skii lifts back and forth was the best and the hotel arrangements to pick up the skii equipment from the skii rental was amazing everything was taken care of.

Well, our room 212 had bathroom leaks, water from the shower was leaking from outside the shower and we were concerned about falling and there was a leak coming from the sink faucet, those leaks were not fixed so we lived 5 days like that, the hotel didn’t offer to change to another room, it is 5 stars hotel and no other accommodation was offered.

Albert has created a magical hotel for any traveller. It goes back many decades and the owners have ensured the hotel is always kept up to date and to the highest of standards. The bus from the hotel to the ski slopes (available on the spot, not predefined times!!) was probably the one detail that made my trip so much easiser. The spa area and the pool were out of this world. Finally, the location was exceptional too, practically in the middle of the town centre.

The hotel has two restaurants, one Michelin star one and one "traditional one". They both operate at different days (at any given day, only one of them is open). I would have appreciated the "traditional" restaurant to have had much better prices. Also, the breakfast was too simple to justify the cost of 35 euros per person.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional

Rooms could be a little more refined to match the rest of the hotel and bathroom.

The staff was amazing, welcoming and helpful. The pool was so cool and cozy with the jacuzzi. The location was great and near to everything (train station and city center). Room was so clean and well organised.

The fridge noise that will drive you crazy if you don't turn it off at night. The pool location was outside and you will have to walk through the freezing cold weather to get to it. The breakfast price is kinda expensive for one person so i didn't try it. Overall i expected a bigger room and hot free drinks for a 300 euro plus night.

My room (number 104) was on the first floor (American 2nd floor) with 3 sets of windows that had an awesome view but no balcony. Never stayed in a Relais & Chateau property before, so admittedly, it's impressive. This room had no tub but was well appointed with very comfortable bed and bath, walk-in shower. Easy walking into Chamonix town. The €19 in-room breakfast was a good deal.

The "heated" pool was hardly heated. The "hot tub" was barely warm. Windows had no screens, so flies got in when opened.

Lovely room, great location. Gastronomic resturant was first class

Building work going on which meant the spa treatments were moved and provided in the gym and there was drilling which meant that the spa wasn’t very relaxing. We were warned in advance and it can’t be helped. I am sure the spa is fabulous when the building works are complete

Excellent location and close proximity to centre of town, yet nice and quiet. Great views of Aiguille du Midi, beautiful grounds. Staff were extremely attentive, polite and friendly. Wonderful spa facilities. Air con in the room was an added bonus as this is hard to find in Chamonix, from our previous experience!

Poor insulation to the sewage stack in our cupboard so we could hear each time the room upstairs flushed their loo.

Hotel and grounds very pleasing. Our room with a view was really beautiful - lovely facilities e.g. Spa, pool and restaurant. Would definitely return and would highly recommend to family & friends. Staff very pleasant.

Would be nice to have staff member checking the garden area (consistently) during the day to see if anyone would like a beverage or light snack.

The location was perfect, the little garden where you could relax under the fruity trees during the hot afternoons was idyllic. The staff couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful

Some kind of ac in the room would have been very welcoming as the evenings became very uncomfortable, however they did give us a fan on request. Also the coffee facilities could have been better for a 5 star hotel.

The room has lovely views of the mountain. The mini bus transfers from the hotel to the gondolas were a great bonus as well as the ability to purchase a ski pass at the hotel and have boots and skis delivered and collected at the end by the ski hire shop next door.
