The location was superb, everything in town minutes’ walk away. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the room was serviced well. The view from the room and particularly the view from the pool area overlooking the river was stunningly beautiful.

I was disappointed with the size of the pool. I am a swimmer but it was too small to swim in so I didn’t use it. My room had a small balcony but I didn’t use it as it was never in the sun and the chairs weren’t comfortable. The room was quite dark and i wanted to have the doors open for light and the view. They wouldn’t stay open unless I used the bin to stop them closing.

The mountain view from our room was absolutely priceless and I don't think we'll ever have a better one anywhere again. Lying in bed and looking out the doors to see Mont Blanc was just unbelievable. The staff were also so friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage pre-check in and give us tips on what to do in the town and beyond. The pool was also a welcome addition after a hot day in the sun.

The floor of our room had a small bump which made us almost trip a few times but on the whole, it was a dream stay. We will be returning and requesting the same room !!

Great location for main centre, 10 min walk to ski bus does have an on site boot room. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available if wanted and a variety of options. Rooms were clean and tidy, made up each day. Nice balcony overlooking river. Tea/coffee facilities are outside on landing to use, you do need your own milk.

Paid for 4 rooms three doubles and one superior double.. couldn’t see what made the room superior for an extra couple of hundred pounds. Bathroom was really narrow. Not many plug sockets to charge phones etc had to take out TV one. Would prefer to have tea/coffee facilities in room.

Cute hotel with perfect location in the heart of Chamonix, yet in a calm area next to the river. Walking distance to everything. It appears to have been recently renovated; it’s impeccable and with lovely taste. In the basement it has a beautiful sauna and hammam space, and a ski room. Beds are very comfortable. We took out little dog with us (5 euros/night). The bar it's open until midnight and there is a free kettle station in each floor. I would definitely go back.

We felt the breakfast at 15 euros was expensive, but they also have a formula of hot drink + croissant for 5 euros.

The location! The hotel is just a few steps away from the center of Chamonix Sud restaurants and shops. I appreciated being away from the center of things. The surroundings are more quiet. The star of our stay were the mountains, and every morning we woke up to a view of those the slopes and trees. Just beautiful and serene. The room was larger than we expected. Clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly. Such a charming place to stay. Have breakfast! There is a stream outside!

From the very beginning of our trip planning, the hotel staff was exceptionally supportive, assisting us with transfers, ski rentals, and other arrangements. They answered all my inquiries quickly and in a very detailed manner. The reception team, particularly Isabelle, was incredibly helpful and provided us with great advice regarding the ski resorts. The breakfast was outstanding, and the hotel's close proximity to Chamonix center was a key factor in our decision. I am certain that we will choose this hotel again next year!

This is my third time in Hotel Lyret. Every time I’m there it feels like home…the staff are very friendly and welcoming, professional, helpful in every way possible. All of them are amazing but especially Isabel who goes above and beyond to help out in everything. The breakfast is amazing, the sauna is an absolute gem after a full day of climbing!! The rooms are superb, the view is immaculate and it’s close to everything in Chamonix!! It’s my forever choice in Chamonix!

Perfect location, very spacious, well designed and super comfy room, very helpful staff and a really lovely lobby and outside area (we were not there long enough to make use of it sadly but glad to know if was there!). Staff had great recommendations of where to eat etc nearby, and were very accommodating with the luggage we left after checkout on our last day

Unfortunately the pool was not open for our stay just on the shoulder of summer, but to be expected (so written on the site)

Good location, clean, comfortable place to rest after our TMB hike. Good breakfast (paid extra - 15 euros each) the following morning. It was quiet despite facing the main street. Fan in the room which was needed.

Some misunderstandings over storage of our luggage before we went on our hike. Was quoted 30 euros to store 2 small rucksacks for 6 days while we hiked and then they wanted 80 euros which seemed extortionate. Took some fairly heavy moaning to get it for 30!

Great room with a great view from the balcony despite some construction in the area. Very easy access to the places we wanted to visit in Chamonix (shops and restaurants). We also liked the breakfast option. It is very cute and my family was very impressed that I found such a nice place without knowing the area.

The room was so quiet during the daytime but in the middle of the night there was a lot of commotion that sounded like it was coming from the street. I thought this was just a one time thing, but it happened again the second night. It was very disruptive to our rest, but I don't fault the hotel for this. This was the only negative of the stay.
