The hotel is OK if you don’t expect something wow. It looks just like in the pictures, the furniture is old, but the room was big and clean. We came for the mountains and hiking, so we weren’t going to spend a lot of time inside, so for this purpose it was fine. The staff we interacted with (at reception and breakfast) were nice and polite. Breakfast is ok, but with limited options and it’s the same everyday. Location is perfect, right next to the pedestrian area.

A lot of doors banging all the time and you could hear people talking in the hallway as if they were in the room with you.

This hotel was perfect for us - position , quality and friendliness . we took half board over Christmas and the food was super with a special effort on 24 and 25. Best of all , our dog ( and others too , are allowed in the restaurant with us . Very kind staff and spotlessly clean ( i have dust allergy and didnt sniff once ) The position of the hotel is fantastic right on the start of the pretty pedestrian road we will definately return

Great location, good value for money, nice atmosphere and a cozy lounge/bar with sofas and a fire place. Rooms were clean and beds were nice. Ski room to store your skis. Nice eggs and bacon for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and heplful. I would recommend this place overall.

Breakfast was OK, but we were expecting a bit more. E.g., the bread was not very fresh and there were only basic sliced cheese and one kind of cold cuts (it would have been nice to have a few types of nice local cheese with fresh bread). A lot of portion-packaged stuff, e.g., cereals, marmelade, granola...not very sustainable nowadays, creating a lot of trash and waste. Our room neighbours were heavy drinkers (American's) and noisy during the night, not that good soundproofing in the rooms. One night we had to go and ask them to be quiet when they were hanging out in the corridor.

Last minute booking as the original hotel we booked in Courmayeur was unsuitable. Last time I was in Courmayeur was 35 years ago! a much smaller, friendly and less trendy ski resort then. Now it makes Wengen seem tatty! The welcome from the young member of the family and his partner was excellent, friendly BUT not bland corporate “Have a nice day”! rubbish. They simply attended to our every needs, The best way to describe this hotel is that it is a warm friendly quality traditional Alpine hotel which retains its original charm and GENUINE friendly approach to its guests. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in St James, London, Times Square New York, 7th Arrondissement in Paris. Shinjuko in Japan and others. Basically, they are all the same. The staff are trained to within an inch of their lives with permanent smiles. The rooms are perfect and exceptionally comfortable but you could be anywhere in the world. These days, in my 70s I find more enjoyment from staying in traditional hotels which reflect the character of their location, especially family run by friendly people who are proud of their locality their establishment and their profession. At breakfast, the head waitor was immaculate with dark suite and bow tie. He looked as though he'd been been born locally and been in this profession all his life and ran his restaurant with sheer class. No amount of corporate training could achieve his standards. Similarly his assistant, similarly immaculately clad with crisp white shirt, bow tie and black waistcoat was constantly checking every dish and all the tables to ensure everything was perfect. The quality of the breakfast was also first class. My wife and I observed these two for some time as this sort of “professional service” is rapidly disappearing worldwide. This is a much longer than normal review and is indicative of how much we enjoyed our stay here, My skiing days are over, howver I have already recommended Hotel Courmayeur to family members.

The only matter than I didn't like was the fact that I hadn't booked more days here!

Very attentive and kind, friendly staff. Very clean. Very good breakfast. Close to cable car. Traditional, in heart of the village. Beautiful views of the mountains. Close to nice bars and restaurants. Short walk to bus stop for free shuttle bus to other areas.

The location could not be better, the staff top notch with charming smiles, the restaurant fantastic, the après-ski bar great and busy, and the whole place was clean and kind and joyous.

The pillows could do with an update to feather! They were a bit stiff and uncomfortable.

Hotel is 10 min walk from Bus station but it is near the shopping district. Hotel staff were friendly. They allowed us to have breakfast the day that we checked in because we had to leave early the next day before breakfast time

You can hear people talking in hallway. Hot water in bathroom is iffy.

I loved the central location of the property in proximity to the main town, hotel breakfast was good and the staff made excellent cappuccinos. The hotel rooms were very clean which is the most important thing to me

The hotel is a tad outdated and furniture is really old, but it gives a nice rustic feel to it

Great location at one end of the pedestrianised Via Roma which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. We were at the back on 1st floor and had no noise issues (not that its noisy late anyway there really). Hotel is cozy in a Alpine away. Spacious room with a view and a small balcony, nice bathroom, plenty of storage space (even got a light in the wardrobe). And plus its in Courmayeur, which is lovely at any time of year.

Breakfast cold eggs and stale bread but lovely coffee and it was included in the price so mustn't grumble I suppose. The only full length mirror in the room was on the inside of the wardrobe door and it was hard to see what you were were wearing (yes I know I'm splitting hairs but just in case someone reads this who puts mirrors in hotel rooms like this, I'm going to mention it).

The hotel is very pretty and centrally located. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast, although a little limited had some delicious locally produced yogurt.

The breakfast was ok, the eggs and bacon were cold and when I advised the kitchen they said no it wasn't. I offered them to try my egg and the server said he didn't eat egg. Later he reluctantly came and asked if he should make us fresh egg and I advised him it was fine as we had already eaten. The on-site parking is €20 and around the hotel it was cheaper to park on the street, however, finding parking was very hard and you had a limited time frame although it was free from 20:00-9:00
