Great location in the heart of town with excellent views

Everything !!! Honestly one of the most welcoming wonderful hotels we have stayed at. We booked through booking.com -pictures do not do it justice. When we arrived the hosts were unbelievably welcoming. Our rooms were ready when we arrived at lunchtime so we were able to go in and change, The rooms were absolutely lovely and the shower was fab. One person in the group was a coeliac and they made every effort to accommodate us. Every morning one host made us gf pancakes and offered gf bread, cereals, cookies etc. Absolutely fab. The bar was also lovely for a pre dinner drink. Lovely local gin. Honestly cannot recommend enough.

Amazing variety, quality and service at the hotel. We really felt welcome from start to finish. The variety and quality of every breakfast item was spectacular, the staff attention and advice - even better. We loved this hotel and hope to be back in the future. Due to the the central location we decide to drive to the Dollonne and Val Veni bases, the hotel will be offering a shuttle in the future, as we were told.

Shuttle to the slopes would have been nice, this hotel is not within walking distance. We ended up driving to the Dollonne base

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Berthod for a skiing holiday. The location is fantastic and very near both the cable car and the town centre. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our room too! The staff were so friendly and helpful with dinner recommendations. Breakfast was delicious too! We booked into the spa which you get exclusive use of (€25 a head). It had a Turkish bath, steam room, sauna and relaxation room - it was incredible! Thank you team Berthod!

Only downside was the bed could have been a bit comfier.

The location was great, staff was great and the overall hotel was clean and nice. I liked the classic Alpine feel.

The only thing that I had an issue with was the temperature in the room. It was about 32C (94F) degrees outside and there was no air conditioning or a fan so it was quite stuffy.

Booked a long weekend ski trip to Courmayeur. All staff at Hotel Berthod were extremely welcoming and friendly during our stay. We stayed in the annexe, room was spotless, bed was comfortable and was very impressed with the spacious bathroom. Breakfast was delightful with a great selection to choose from, fabulous coffee and plenty of it. Would love to return one day

Great location and good value for an expensive town. Rooms simple, but the public areas have lots of personality. Staff delightful. Great views all round. Breakfast good. Coffee machine amazing !

Bathroom door wouldn't close. Room shape odd (junior suite) and would have been very cosy if we'd had three in the room.

Good place to spend a weekend, close to the center of the town, very close to the amenities such as Skyway Monte Bianco and QC Terme SPA. Room was extremely clean at our arrival, breakfast was super, any kinds of biscuits, yogurt, fresh fruit and juices and any salt options.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a small relaxed hotel, which may be family owned and run. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We stayed in a simple double bed room on the ground floor and we had a large balcony which we used several times so soak up the evening sun. The breakfast is excellent. Lots of fresh fruit and fresh bread and no fuss. As much as you want. The location is excellent too. It is right under the main centre and very close to the bus station. This hotel would be very very high on our list of hotels to book again.

Very little not to like here. IF I was to be picky, I would say that the corridor noise is a little high, because the doors close a little loudly and the floors are tiled, so there can be a lot of noise from other guests if they are up early etc. Having said that, most places we visited in Italy are up and at it early - from 7am, so you get used to going to bed early.

Could be offered a fan - appreciate it is not always that hot so need for air-conditioning but rooms were hot
