The location in a quiet area, (beginning of May) Clean and very friendly staff. I wasn’t originally too happy with the room given. I asked for top floor but when shown the room it didn’t have a balcony and the nice gentleman offered another room with a balcony just not on the very top floor. Kettle was provided on request. It’s a very old building and you feel like being in a castle.

The selection at breakfast could be better. There was no vegetables but otherwise all good and tasty.

A very sweet, small hotel. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. The dinners were an exceptional value. But mainly, I enjoyed the eclectic nature of the place. Lots of wood and stone, exposed beams and rafters, and vintage furniture contribute to the hotel’s charm. Every room held something surprising.

The only drawback this older, non-driving client experienced is the infrequent (once per hour) bus service to town. It’s a short walk but with significant vertical: a chore if you’re hauling a heavy suitcase.

Absolutely stunning building. Never seen anything like it, feel like you’re inside a castle. Huge social lounge with a massive fireplace, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly, helpful and chatty. Would highly recommend staying and if I’m in the area again I will for sure stay here. The food menu also looks superb but I did eat there on the evening I stayed.

Rooms were very warm in the summer, a fan in the rooms would make it more comfortable. I didn’t ask at reception as we’re only stayed the night and was up and out very early but maybe they had some.

The hotel was so unique with its medieval features maintained. But it also felt really cosy and welcoming. I loved it as soon as I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only improvement would have been a self service drinks machine for breakfast rather than waiting to place a drinks order

Quiet and beautiful- nice little balcony. Good shower and comfy bed. Great place to rest up if you’re doing the Tour du Mont Blanc.

Staff were a bit weird / unhelpful. Reception desk not always staffed even though you have to hand in your key when you go out. We had to wait more than a few minutes. But we had a very nice older gentleman deliver a carafe of wine plus snacks to our room late one night so that made up for it. ;)

This hotel is lovely, in a very peaceful, beautiful location. It's comfortable, and excellent value for money.

The breakfast needs a little work, it was very basic, which is a shame, because everything else was exceptional.

Great value for money, clean, great views from rooms. Excellent staff, just ask and they will help. They have lots of adapters at reception between the many Italian plug types.

Could do with a makeover, but if your looking at this hotel you filtered by cheapest in Courmayeur so can’t be picky.

Lovely hotel, not in resort so quiet. A 15 min walk to town centre but only 5 mins to Dolonne cable car

A charming ancient hotel with a "spirit of place" in a beautiful location in the foothills of Mont Blanc. Nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast and dinner, the possibility to sit on the outdoor terrace with a wonderful view of the Alps.

Limited equipment, very small bathroom. But this is due to the limited possibilities of the building from the 16th century.

We loved our stay here! The stuff was absolutely nice, and the place itself it's amazing! very old, you feel like travelling back in time. I also recommend to have dinner there, the price is excellent as so is the food. And the view from the Mont Blanc is just lovely.
