Very beautiful hotel, great swimming pool, kind staff, good free parking around, location good (close to gare and bus les tines), good restaurant.
It is not fully child friendly, meaning if the weather doesn’t allow to swim in the pool, there is not much to do except billiard. The restaurant also doesnt have any children dishes and didnt want to cut the price in half for a normal dish. Also, children pay the normal adult price in a double room. Our room was good, but there were not enough hangers or places to store all the hiking stuff. But overall: very nice hotel!

Staff were great. Room was clean and a good size Lovely to have a pool to cool off and relax by Parking plentiful and free. It felt secure. Free train ticket available from reception. The station was close by and it was a good service for travelling up and down the valley and accessing lifts. We also used it for trips to Chamonix because it took the hassle out of parking in town. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was tasty and good value in a nice setting; we sat outside on the veranda looking at the sunset over the Aguille de Midi.
We visited end of June. The room was really hot and we struggled to sleep. Note, not all rooms have great views. We were at the back of the hotel and our balcony overlooked the fire escape. You get what you pay for!

The room was comfortable and very clean and overlooked the terrace and the pool. The view from the terrace was stunning and the pool was gorgeous. The breakfast was generous and the evening meal on our second night on the terrace was delicious. The hotel is in a quiet area and only a 5 minute walk to the train station which will take you into central Chamonix in 7 minutes. The hotel provide tickets which makes the journey free of charge so it's almost better than being in the centre of Chamonix as it's beautifully quiet with stunning views.
We were a bit disappointed on our first night that we were unable to eat in the restaurant due to a large group who had taken over the restaurant and the staff were run off their feet so it was difficult to get even some bar food. We did manage to get something in the end and it was ok. The hotel was quite expensive but as it's close to Chamonix it is to be expected.

Lovely pool and setting
Thought the food and drink were quite overpriced especially the coffee. I think access to the spa should be included in the hotel stay also.

Nice ambiance, gorgeous view, parking just in front of the hotel.
- The staff asked for a card as a guarantee for our stay, even though this kind of policy isn’t used anymore in the whole Europe. This kind of policy offends any tourist specially because it is applied selectively. And also, this kind of demand will only upset the clients because of any case of damages in the room, the card cannot be charged without pre-authorisation, so it is useless. - Also, a very bad note that happened to us and also to our friends, although the hotel was quite empty, they tried to get rid of the bad rooms first: they tried to give us the room next to the elevator which had the elevator exactly inside the room. The same story happened the next day to our friends. The receptionist changed our room after that.

Good value for money compared with the quality and location. Comfy beds, the fact that the bathrobes and slippers were provided. Extremely helpful and nice staff - reception, restaurant. Everyone were really very caring.
If you come for skiing - nearest bus stop is about 800m away. And that was far for me to walk with ski boots. They did not have basic things in the room- wine glasses, wine opener, spoons for hot drinks. I think these are essential. Breakfast - very poor choice! Not a single vegetable. No any kind of porridge. The only warm thing they had was some scrambled eggs and pancakes which were quite cold too. We booked hotel because they had spa. Only later we found out that it was at extra charge. Which is ok, but it would have been nicer to know prior the booking. Poor signs to find ski lockers, way out and even way back in to the hotel with ski equipment. It should not be so hard to put some sings I guess.

We loved this little town so enchanting and interesting although a little expensive against our Australian dollar. The hotel itself felt so homely. The beds and pillows were lovely and soft. The free pool, sauna and hot tub were such a treat for us and we loved that. The landscape is what dreams are made of. The reception was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us on the day we were leaving, and gave us a bus timetable. The hotel itself seemed very quiet whilst we stayed there. The passages all have lighting by sensor so they would only turn on if someone was walking down them which I thought was clever. Our room was serviced everyday to a good standard. Handy key card entry to your room. Reception open 24hrs a day. There were lifts and it is wheel chair accessible. This property is definitely international standard.
The fridge was not really cold it did not get or keep our drinks cold and we couldn’t really buy food to keep in there because it felt like it wasn’t really working. The property was a little bit far away from the city centre but luckily there was a bus stop about 4 mins walking distance and it came every 30mins into the city centre. The restaurant was a little pricey so we only ate there once. We couldn’t swap the tv over to English which was really annoying for us.

Superb hotel and facilities, the pool and spa are very good.
The only thing I personally would like is if the hotel had some bikes onsite to borrow. There is a bus stop a few mins walk but I would personally preferred to have the option to use a bike to get in and out of chamonix. The buses were a little unreliable I found and often very very full

very cozy, clean and spacious rooms with a balcony pleasant and polite staff There is underground parking, but you can also find a place on the street convenient if you have a car as the hotel is located a bit far from the city center cozy bar and restaurant
We had dinner at the restaurant, I ordered salmon, but the portion of 4 small pieces for 20 euros surprised me Also, the rest of the dishes were not very tasty, so we no longer had dinner at the hotel but went to the city We paid for breakfast for one day and also planned to have breakfast at the hotel for the entire trip, but it turned out that there was absolutely no choice for breakfast so the rest of the days we were also forced to have breakfast in the city I think for such a hotel it wouldn’t be bad to make the breakfast more varied and add at least vegetables, a lot of dairy products and cheeses, for example, I don’t consume dairy products and I had absolutely nothing to choose from

The hotel is located 6 minutes walking distance from the train station (train runs every hour), and from the bus station (Les Tines bus stop, buses run every 10-15 minutes during the day) - getting to Flegere ski lift or Chamonix Mont Blanc is quite easy (2 bus stops to Flegere - 3-4 min). The hotel gives you host passes for the public transportation (with host card trains are free, buses are no longer free but you can buy the 2 day pass for EUR 4 with the host card). The train also takes you to Les Houches and other ski areas - it is very convenient if you time its arrival well. Rooms are comfortable, warm and clean, staff is friendly.
The Spa area costs extra to use it - the sauna and jacuzzi are quite small so if there are more than 2 people it is already quite crowded. The breakfast is tasty however is a bit plain and could use more variety for the price.
