Excellent stay for a very fair price. Thank you. Bed linen was very clean. Hot shower with good water supply. Large window in room with good fresh air. Very pleasant, welcoming atmosphere at breakfast and staff not over intrusive or imposing at all. Relaxing stay. People all calm. Excellent choice at breakfast. Very central location. Parking around the corner very easy (not at hotel itself). Mini bar prices very fair.

Our room was directly next to a recycling point on the road so every morning we were woken by very loud bottle collections! Take a riverside room if you can…

So well located in chamonix centre across the road from Le Monchu (make a resso that restaurant is great!), 5mins to ski bus station and 10mins to the main bus station. The hotel staff were amazing - informative, kind and accommodating. I had a lovely room overlooking the river.

Fri & Sat nights were loud - there was rowdy guests in the bar past midnight both nights (past 2am on Sat) making sleep a challenge. The rooms are dated - but for the price v location it made sense and overall was very comfortable and is all part of the charming feeling of being in a quaint ski town in the Alps.

In the heart of Chamonix. Staff was flexible about leaving luggage early, they get this request all the time. Friendly and welcoming to my dog too at reception and the restaurant. Can take the Mulet bus from Cham Sud ( gare routière) to Casino if you are coming in from a transatlantic flight like I did. Has an elevator, updated bathrooms

Unfortunately I was there during a heat wave, no AC but the evenings did cool off and keeping the shades drawn during the day helped

I like that my spacious room was really clean and fresh when I checked in. The crisp white towels and amenities in a well sanitized bathroom are always a plus. The view from my room and the gushing sound from the river outside made my stay more relaxing. The breakfast at 12 euros was well worth it compared to outside since it made me really full for the rest of the day. The location is perfect since it's just a few steps away from the city center and just a good 6-minute walk from the bus station. Wifi worked well, and Alex at the Front Desk was really kind, gleeful, and helpful.

As a hotelier, I didn't quite like the bed was made, but that's just whimsical of me. So, there is no demerit there, but it would be nice to arrive in a well-made bed.

Clean, comfortable and well located to everything in Chamonix. Alex, the host, is very easy to approach, friendly and a trove of information for all things local. Would definitely stay here again!

If one has to find something to complain it would be the parking. With a lot of luggage it might be a bit of an inconvenience not have the parking right next to the hotel, but a five minute walk isn’t bad as the upside is a virtually car-free city center.

The staff - Alex in particular - were welcoming and friendly. The location is fantastic, great value for money. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage space and coathangers for clothing. I got the self-serve buffet breakfast for my second morning and it was well worth the price. I stayed here after ten days on the TMB - it was exactly what I needed.

It takes a good minute or so for hot water to make it up to the third floor. Just be patient - once it arrives your shower will be as hot as you want it 😉

WiFi not good. No kettle in room for tea and coffee

We were given a room with a view of Mt. Blanc, which was greatly appreciated. The location is terrific. Wonderful shower. We did breakfast only one morning of three; it was fine but we don't like spending money on breakfast when we don't eat that much. We could easily walk to the Tourist Office, the Planpraz cable car, the bus stop, Aguille du Midi cable cars, many restaurants.

Getting there with a car and the parking was a challenge. We did not understand how the barrier worked to get into the street (there was an arrow you had to push on the machine to get a list of the hotels and make contact to get the barrier lowered; we did not see that). There is no such arrangement anywhere in the US that we've been and management might remember that when dealing with dumb Americans. We don't have those barriers! The parking lot is minimal, and once we were in it we didn't dare move the car until we left! But it all worked out after some initial stress with car.
