Reception staff let the hotel down. This is our second time we have had this experience. There is an older lady who is at reception and she is lovely and very accommodating. On check-in in there are two young ladies who are quite abrupt and rude, rolling their eyes and huffing during check-in when asked questions such as extra keys. Not the nicest welcome, and given that I recommended this hotel to family from last year, I found it an embarrassing unavoidable first impression. I write this only so management is aware and can improve others' experience. Other than that everyone else is lovely. Pool bar staff are very happy, helpful, and work hard all day, as do the shuttle drivers who don't stop and always open doors, greet everyone with a warm welcome, and ensure everyone gets up and down to the town safely. The lifeguards don't take their eyes off the pool all day, they are very attentive. There was a gentleman who needed medical assistance and they were very quick to respond and medical assistance was arranged promptly.

Large pool, free use of driving range, free shuttle into Garda (although often quite busy). Apartments were clean. Bathroom shower with great water pressure ;). It was possible to book trips/ guided tours to Verona and Venice through an office on the property. Great air conditioning and WiFi. Besides the restaurant on the property, there were also some lunch/dinner options in walking distance.

Pool, despite the size, was often crowded. It also had a concrete/cement floor which could be rough on your feet. Apartments could use an update. Prices for drinks at pool bar were a bit more expensive than the signs would lead you to believe. (Cocktails 6.50 instead of 6). Staff was nice enough but didn’t “volunteer” any information about activities, restaurant offerings and so forth.

Breathtaking views and an excellent pool made our stay very enjoyable. The flat was pretty clean. The resort itself is extraordinary, with a great pool area, a snack and drinks bar, and a kid-friendly environment.

no soap or shampoo was provided in the bathroom, and we had to buy everything ourselves, including toilet paper. The rooms are small and could use redecorating, and the fold-out bed was inconvenient

The flat was clean and very functional. We did not miss anything. The resort is extraordinary with an excellent pool area with snack and drinks bar, good small football pitch with artificial loan (with flood light), a great and air-conditioned gym and four tennis courts (sand - as well with flood light). WiFi coverage and signal were very good.

The mattress of the queen-size bed in the major bedroom was too soft.

Amazing view and a lot of sport facilities , such as football field, playground, tennis courts, etc. Sufficient room for a family if 2 adults + 2 kids. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils & appliances. Quiet all the time. Very good location to reach Gardaland and the cities around Gardalake.

Cleaning should be improved. Upon check in, the floors were dirty and dusty. No soap or shampoo was available, we had to contact reception to have them provided.

The apartment was basic but perfectly adequate and air conditioning tgroughout was great. The pool was great. Lovely view to the lake. We hired a car so only used the shuttle bus once but did notice that there were often large queues etc.two good restaurants within walking distance.

Restaurant was expensive so only went once. The bike hire was limited and expensive but they did put us in contact with a local bike hire shop who delivered the bikes to us which was good.

The rooms were a bit small, but overall everything was great. The rooms had air conditioning, and the resort is wonderful for children. Definitely worth a visit.”

The resort was very nice and big the cost was very good - the reception is very far from our apartment and you can hear people through the wall but overall really nice

Better information about facilities and what is available - the apartment had no toiletries and soap even for the dishes and it did not mention what kind of coffee machine was there for us in advance

Very nice and clean facility. It's a bit away from Garda Town but they provide a regular free shuttle. Pool was nice and they have good facilities. Apartment is spacious

Distance from the town requires a shuttle. At busy periods you will have to wait for the shuttle to empty and return to collect you. Apartments are a 5-7 minute walk to the reception area, uphill. You could organise a transport though. There is no supermarket on site but there is a small shop. Its cash only. Pool bar is room charge or a pre-paid card. If you purchase prepaid cards (10 euro each) on your bank card, you cannot get refunded the difference.... Decor of the apartment is dated but fine.

It's a beautiful resort. We had an apartment with a kitchenette. Beautiful views from the patio. Great facilities, which we unfortunately did not use as we were out all day every day.

The fact that you don't give your guests towels! There is no cleaning service. The were no extra dustbin bags. I think these things should be mentioned to people when booking at Poiana, so that they can come prepared. The pool and gym open only at 9am, which is a pity, as a lot of people like to work out before breakfast.
