The property is located in a prime spot, offering stunning lake views from rooms with balconies. Although the breakfast timings are a bit strict, the overall experience was truly enjoyable. It’s a boutique hotel with an exotic feel, providing excellent value for the price. A special bonus is the Friday flea market, which is a fantastic spot for shopping, and the nearby Bardolino walk was absolutely lovely.

During our stay, the AC wasn’t functioning properly, and the set temperature made the room feel quite warm. Since the weather outside was cool, we ended up keeping the window open at night for better air circulation. Also, the iron wasn’t available in the room—it was placed in the laundry room on the ground floor.

Everything was very pleasant and comfortable especially as we had been touring by train and ready for a rest. The weather wasn't as good as hoped for but we had one wet day where we spent a happy of hours in the spa. The Breakfast buffet was nicely presented but only ate in the restaurant once. Nice idea to have the salad and cheese and dessert separate. The proximity to the town was very convenient and it was quite beautiful.

Our bathroom was a little small as the door hit against the toilet but the we were in a suite which was very nice. we prefer a shower not a handheld one over the bath. We were unhappy with the tasting menu. It was all beautifully described and presented but no course had the wow factor. In fact we went with another who had never had a tasting menu before and a couple of courses were not pleasant. It was a little embarrassing as we had invited them to join us.

For a four star hotel this was a great spot. Perfect lakeside location. They suggested we attend their NY Eve party and it was very good. Sonia and Natascia both helped us book taxis in advance for trips to Malcesine and Sirmione which was very helpful. Room was awesome and very reasonable for a suite which we don't normally do. I really appreciated the daily newsletter with possible things to do that day. I kept them all for ideas for a return trip. Interestingly, I found this and the flyers at the hotel about ferry times and other activities as well as a folder in the Bar of suggested tours much more helpful than the website which had previously led me to believe there was not much going on in winter when in fact there was plenty to do. The restaurant staff did a great job on NYE for a full house. Very impressed.

Housekeeping left our room open accidentally but thankfully nothing was taken! Accidents happen so hopefully that was a one off and the reception apologised when we let them know. Their website does not contain the same great information as available at the hotel so either update the website or refer the guests to possible activities.

Right beside the lake front this hotel is a rare gem, old world style meets modern customer service. Staff were warm and helpful and the facilities second to none. The breakfast was of a very high quality and we would recommend a visit to the Patio restaurant if budget allows, quite the experience. The Spa and pool area were very high quality and the gym while small was very well equipt. Their Beauty salon gave an excellent service. Would love to return!

Couldn't fault anything at this hotel.

Regina Adelaide is a stunning hotel/spa/restaurant that specializes in wonderful service, exceptional facilities, great location, and awesome food. The restaurant is over the top excellent for dinner and breakfast. The spa looks brand new and has everything you could want to relax and enjoy some ‘me’ time. And the rooms are historic, comfortable, very clean, with everything you need for a good nights sleep. The location in the middle of the little historic town of Garda, right on the lake is one of the best reasons for a visit.

We got a reasonable deal through booking.com as this hotel is usually more expensive. The breakfast was fine but not as good as other hotels we have stayed at. There was a breakfast menu on the tables but it wasn't clear if these items were extra or included . The pool area was very nice. The Spa area was good but better signage in the SPA would help to show where the various steam rooms, plunge pools and saunas are. The massage I had was excellent.

Too many staff at breakfast with nothing to do - we counted 10 at one point. Despite having lots of staff you had to get your own hot drinks As you put anything down one or more were over to take it away. It was very annoying.

Outstanding vintage hotel. Located close to the shore of Lake Garda, but also to the center of the village. Vintage atmosphere with old, still functional furniture. The room seems a little too small for expectations... Comfortable double bed. The bathroom is small but equipped with everything. Luxury cosmetics. We also have a fitness room in the basement. But the real queen is the spa center. Luxury changing rooms. Pool with hot water at 39 degrees. Pool with cold water at 14 degrees. Two dry saunas and one wet. Heated massage table. Aromatherapy room. Relaxation room with diffused light. Large indoor heated pool. Jacuzzi. Bonus paid water and tea samovar. Showers. Imperial breakfast. Champagne and natural juices. The coffee at the bar is very good. Omelette and crispy bacon. Selection of gourmet sausages and cheeses. The fruit part is well represented, less sweets. But we can console ourselves with a honeycomb!

Sometimes too vintage as if... The elevator for example is from the time of Queen Victoria... The water temperature in the jaccuzzi could be higher.

Location is great. Breakfast is amazing. Room was big and quiet. Food at the restaurant overall was to die for. That 2 people rib-eye was the best thing ever!

Daughter got an eye infection from the pool, which raised some concerns on the cleanliness. One night and the next morning the restaurant staff felt not there. It was a little inconvenient if we wanted to ask for something. Wine stayed in the bottle.

Great location, lovely restaurants, friendly staff

The air conditioning repeatedly failed and the staff, while friendly, never adequately responded to the issue. Opening the windows in our room made it difficult to sleep--given the location of the hotel, close to restaurants and clubs, there is a lot of noise late into the night. There are also mosquitoes. We were faced with a choice of closing the windows (the room was then 25C and suffocatingly hot) or opening windows, allowing rain, noise, and bugs in. Shouldn't have to face such a choice in a 4-star hotel spending 400+ euros per night.
