Location was perfect, just opposite the castle. My room had a gorgeous view of the castle, which I had not asked for, so that was a wonderful surprise... to see the castle close-up every morning when I got up and all lit up at night before I went to bed, what could be better. Breakfast was absolutely superb, very different from the crappy breakfasts you usually get in Italian hotels. Very healthy choices, whole-grain beads, delicious fresh fruit, a range of cereals to choose from, seeds, nuts, scrambled eggs, even rocket and cherry tomato salad. Way beyond my expectations.

The water pressure in my shower was too low. But then again, I didn't complain about it.

Excellent central location infront of the castle. Big rooms. Nice shower. Newly renovated hotel. Very friendly helpful staff and hotel manager Sara. Good breakfast. Stylish interior design.

Breakfast is good from a selected menu. would be much better to have more variety of fresh vegetables fruits cheese eggs and bread Self serve - as well as coffee and beverages.

Everything, we are very excited of this hotel. Very nice rooms and bathroom, clean, modern and fully equiped. Very nice personal on the reception and on breakfast service too. We also really like breakfast, delicious and fancy. Main sightseeing can see from window :-)

Really comfortable beds, spacious room and central location.

The staff was not really aware on how some basic things worked. I asked if the roof window had shutters but they said it didn’t and that no one ever asked for them - until I found the switch to close the shutters (a little hidden), so it was actually there.

Fortunately breakfast included bacon and eggs (not mentioned on website) and then the usual continental breakfast options. Staff were very helpful, location is central, and the rooms were clean.

Rooms are fairly basic. Location is great but only taxis seem to be able to stop outside the hotel due to permanent restrictions.

Professional staff, comfortable room, great and tasty breakfast, just in the centre of wonderful Ferrara. Simply, it made our stay in Ferrara nice and memorable, and we will happily come back again.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The location was right beside the Este Castle and there were good restaurants close by.

I'm arthritic, so I found the bed rather too firm - however, my husband didn't have that problem!

Location of the property is excellent, right in the historical centre of Ferrara. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast offers a lot of choices, salty and sweets, very kind staff and excellent cappucino.

Lighting in the bathroom was a bit insufficient. Very romantic, but not really efficient.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Ferrara, right next to the castle. Beautiful room, excellent service, and very helpful staff. Highly recommended!!

I couldn’t find anything negative about my stay

Amazing location,very clean room,super polite stuff with smile and helpful.The breakfast had everything,very tasty…100% recommended for everyone who wants to visit Ferrara.
