The location is amazing, with views from the breakfast balcony over the cathedral square and towards the castle. The staff were wonderful, only too happy to help with tips when I asked where to eat at night or get a great icecream. The breakfast was satisfactory though more choice of cheese, some tomatoes or salad and more ham would have been appreciated. The cakes were great. The room was comfortable.

Not the fault of the hotel but it was the Ferrara festival and music was playing outside my window till way past midnight. If you want to sleep early, I would avoid staying here during this period. The toiletries were a bit sparse - we now expect certain toiletries and don't travel with so much but here there was only shampoo - body and hair combined and a bar of soap. I had to leave my bag and laptop in an open access area opposite reception. I would have preferred a locked room as I was quite worried about the laptop. It only takes a few seconds for the person on reception to be distracted. However, all was well.

Very strong wi-fi. The room was excellent and they are offering free water, still and sparkling, every day. Also in the room there are coffee and tea. The bathroom huge and well lightened. The breakfast rich and delicious. The bar and breakfast room is the same place with a panoramic view of the Cathedral of Ferrara. Have an Aperol is worthy. The place of the hotel is in the center and someone can walk to every place of interest. The personel very polite and helpful. Thank you for all. You made Ferrara unforgettable.

The lights in the room are too low.

The location is great! You can see the medieval cityscape and the cathedral from the room, breakfast area, and terrace. Unfortunately, the facade of the cathedral was under restoration. Ferrara is a very small town, so it was convenient to go anywhere from here. The staff were young and friendly. The breakfast was simple, but it was nice to be able to eat it while looking at the view. The room was larger and cleaner than I expected.

The terrace closed early, so I wish it had been closed on time. It may be unavoidable since it was winter, but the whole terrace was surrounded by plastic, so it didn't have much of an atmosphere.

The furniture were old and the mattress could be better. For a 3 star hotel the breakfast could have been richer and the soaps and shower gels could have been better and more sufficient for a 2 persons room (2 mini soap bars and 2 mini packets of shower gel and no hair product) also the cleaning service didn't replace the correct number of towels they took. We had to ask for some more

We were staying for a night in Ferrara and the view from this hotel is truly not to be missed. We had breakfast on the terrace, and again the view is stunning. Since we were leaving in a hurry, staff provided us with bags for a takeaway breakfast.

Being picky, our room did look like a converted apartment - the carpet and a few other details could do with an update. But that’s being quite picky, we really enjoyed our stay. Better signage outside the hotel could be helpful as we were expecting it to be far clearer. It was seeing the terrace all the photos came from that tipped us off before we found the right door.

Incredible location right on the main square in Ferrara. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Just a few steps to the cathedral and castle. Supermarket and pharmacy close by for convenience. Breakfast was simple and so nice to eat and look at the cathedral. Even though my room was on the other side from the square, it still had a cute view of rooftops.

Spacious room with enough chairs or sofa to rest and to read. Our room faces the duomo and it is interesting to watch people passing on streets.

More communications with guests could be better during breakfast time and it would be more appreciated if the staff member made efforts to ask guests if they need more coffee.

Central location and view on the cathedral from my room and from the breakfast place was just amazing. The stuff was helpful.

Overheated terribly and one cannot regulate it centrally. Opening windows helped, but since you are in the center, quite some noise was entering until like 3am. The next day I asked to switch off the heating, but it took 24 hours to do so. So also second night I really suffered. When they switched it if finally, it also fully closed my hot water. At 11pm when I came back to the hotel and found this out, the emergency number provided for cases after closing of the reception, nobody replied and never called back. TI had to have a super cold shower with super low water pressure. Even after closing the heating in the room, the floor heating managed to melt chocolate bar in my luggage on the floor - what kind of destroyed present I brought from my home country.

Hotel staff were great and very helpful. The location is central to all the sites in the old town and many restaurants. There is a small but wonderful rooftop patio set on top of a bridge between buildings, which offers a view of the main town square yet is set apart and quiet, lovely for breakfast and also for a late day cocktail. The room was larger than most you get in Italy in the same price range. The breakfast menu has great and fresh baked goods and the terrace is a great place to enjoy it.

The cocktail bar has a limited snack food menu and it would be great if it offered more choices for a late snack. The cocktails were, however, excellent.

Arrived on market day, so taxi could not take us to door. Had a bit of fun finding the place, then getting in. Plus door issues later. The place is located on a square with a nightclub opposite, so Friday/Sat night there is a bit of noise (not the hotels fault). Worse there were people playing jazz in the square outside during the afternoon. Again - not the hotels fault
