This is an exceptionally great accommodation for visiting Rome, Frascati, and the surrounding area. My boyfriend and I spent five nights at B&B Il Cucu, and every evening we were saying to each other how happy we are that we chose to stay in Frascati instead of Rome. It takes only 30 minutes to reach Frascati from Rome Termini train station (which is faster than reaching some of Rome's suburbs), and it takes less than a 5-minute walk to reach B&B Il Cucu from Frascati train station. The location of B&B Il Cucu is just perfect. Frascati itself is a very calm and nice town, worth spending a day simply walking around, enjoying the architecture and gelatos. There are many nice cafes, restaurants, and gelaterias within a few minutes walk from B&B Il Cucu, as well as several manors and even an archaeological site on a hill within a hiking distance. Flavia, the owner of B&B Il Cucu, was really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She was very flexible with the check-in time - Flavia welcomed us even earlier than supposed to and offered aromatic cups of Italian espresso :) During our stay, she was available via WhatsApp. When we approached her asking for some suggestions regarding visiting some other lovely towns, she suggested a really great destination that we could easily reach from Frascati. The place itself exceeded our expectations - in reality, it looks way better than in the photos! B&B Il Cucu was very clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The breakfast was self-service, which was just great as several mornings we woke up quite early. Every morning, the breakfast offer was supplemented with new goods. Even though the bathroom and the kitchen are shared areas with two other rooms, the place didn't have a "hostel vibe", but felt more like a private accommodation. If you are looking for great accommodation close to Rome, this is it! :)

Cute B&B at Frascati center at 5 minutes walk from bus and train stations. Clean. The breakfast is accessible all the time.

Even if is near the train station, it is a little bit hard to access with a suite case (pavement and stairs on the street and no elevator).

Good value for the price. Friendly and responsive host - smooth check-in and check-out. Excellent location. Nice breakfast included. Good wifi available. Well equipped room.

The shower was small (hard to fit in) but it was OK for that price.

Il Cucù is an excellent place to stay. There is a great location and a spacious, bright room. Everything is clean and inviting. In summary, the whole flat is cosy and convenient. Breakfast's good. What is more, the owner is adorable, welcoming, and also very helpful! 😊😊 We're delighted, absolutely love it! 🤗

There wasn't a choice of savory breakfast, however it wasn't a big problem :))

The breakfast was good with müsli and yoghurt available. The location was close to the centre.

The heating should have been better controllable by the people staying there. It became extremely cold in the middle of the night, and this only improved later once the heaters turned on (perhaps on a timer?)

The B&B il Cucu' is in a perfect location, walking distance from the train station and the city center. The room is big and well-heated, and the bathroom is super clean. Flavia, the owner, and the other persons working there are very kind and ready to help. I highly recommend il Cucu'!

Great location steps from the train station. Staff was very attentive and came by twice a day to clean. Very big room and bed was comfortable.

The only thing we feel needs improvement is the shower as it’s a little dated and small.

Lovely place to stay in Frascati. Only three minutes walk to the train station and then you're in Rome Termini in 30 minutes. Frascati is a charming town with plenty to do in the evening after a day of sightseeing in the city.

The location of B&B is perfect, the size and cleanliness of the room are great, a small kitchen is well equipped (perhaps I missed the wine glasses), the organization of the arrival was smooth and very efficient. The breakfast was continental with a plenty of coffee, cakes etc; taking that into account, it was very good (but I myself prefer English breakfast).

The doors between the rooms and common corridor were rather loud - they need some maintenance. I was in Frascati for a business trip, thus I missed a larger desk where I could work.

Loved everything about this property. Dealing with Flavia and also her brother was very easy, they were both very kind, friendly and accomodating. Flavias brother gave us many tips on where to eat and what to do around the area. Messaged Flavia prior to push back our stay as we got food poisoning, she happily let us delay our stay and checked in with us to see how we were feeling prior to our arrival! Frascati was an amazing place to stay out of Rome and the train is a 3minute walk from the apartment. We had the best pizza and pasta at the restaurant 20m down the road and also delicious gelato in the main square. When i come back to the area i will stay here again no doubt.
